I have a Sky Golem.

Honestly, I hate the Sky Golem.

I’m an herbalist.

I still hate the Sky Golem.

I rarely use it.

i found that in BfA, the rider on back of a druid can herb and mine, even if the druid doesn’t land on the ground

I can still water walk whenever I want… I actually want exactly what happened with water strider. It’s boring to have to use the same mount for a perk. I hate the noise the Sky Golem makes.

in BFA I sold millions and millions of consums that let you do that.
blacksmithing made them - i don’t recall their name.

do they still work?

Water strider didn’t have a special animation tied to its ability though.

Blacksmithing(or engineering) should have been able to make a mount equipment to gather herbs. Blizzard has already acknowledged that the Sky Golem has the mount equipment slot full. Why not just let us pick whatever mount perk we want… there are so many mounts…

so? it’s ability is what is on topic. Sky Golem’s ability is harvest herbs without dismounting; Water Strider’s ability is walk/run on water.

The Monel-Hardened stirrups let you mine while mounted, AND flying above the node, so you didn’t aggro nearby melee mobs. I used this on my druid and gathered on a mount because of this.
You can herb in flight form, but you have to land, and you fall out of flight form when you try to mine, and then have to kill everything nearby to get out of combat and fly again.
