Since not everyone is a collector, why did mount collection achievements stop? We have not had an update to the mount collection achievement since the 500 achievement - “Thanks for the Carry” which awarded the rather lackluster Otherwordly Ottuk Carrier. I think it’s about time Blizzard paid attention to the collectors and updated the achievements for pet collectors and mount collectors and awarded them accordingly with acceptable awards! MANY of us put countless hours into our characters tracking down hard to find pets, mounts, and toys. Grinding away week after week to get these low % drops. We deserve to have this dedication awarded. Just my 1.9 cents.

ion answered this in an intervew a few days ago
they are aware that people have a thousand plus mounts now and they want to make sure the next achievements have truly special mount rewards and not just a recolor of an existing mount

I don’t much like that attitude. Yes the achievements are nice and I hope they do add more of the mount threshold ones. But I like collecting them for its own sake. For the sheer joy of adding another one to the pile. It is not a hobby that requires validation or glory.
