Was wondering, cause while youre immune to the rocket barrage while standing in there, theres mechanics that force you to move out of it, namely the rotating frontal and the seeking missile.
Ive seen plenty of people die to this due to being caught out of the safe spot.
So yeah, maybe its better to just do the boss how its intended, paying attention to the drones so you know which areas are safe. rather than relying one a (very tiny) safespot youre often forced out of.
Whatever this âsafe spotâ that youâre talking about is, it doesnât sound very much like one.
Basically theres a spot that for whatever reason is never touched by the rocket barrages, and people are obsessed with using it.
Even though like i stated, youre often forced out of it.
And like I said, it really doesnât sound like a safe spot at all. Not what Iâd define as one anyway. If it was safe, then there wouldnât be any need to move at all for anything.
There are six regions (2 by 3 grid depending on boombas) and two are safe at any given time, the most successful group Iâve played with had the tank drag the boss into the middle of one of the safe regions, then we were all in melee to run around the 360 shot except for the one who is targeted with the projectile shot, they run to whichever corner is safe (at least one always is).
the safe spot works fine, but you donât just stand on it without moving the whole time. yes, you will need to move a bit for some things. the person targeted by the middle does need to move if they canât immune it. but itâs a general marker that works fine with a bit of practice.
use the âsafe spotâ for the first barrage then donât use it again. Iâve used it for the second a couple times, but I wouldnât count on the second time
