Most fun healer?

Mistweaver.

2nd fav is probably my paladin currently. Don’t know if that will be the case come S2.

Is something changing with them in S2? Genuinely curious.

A lot of the melee healing is being nerfed. Caster is getting buffed but it looks lacking.

Yeah the rain and giant puddle upsurge was fun for sure, agree 100%

depends. i think for leveling fistweaver monk is one of the most fun. but one of the worst at endgame because being in melee is a death sentence

the most fun at endgame is usually the best or strongest one and thats resto sham atm. ive tried priest and i hatem even if they are stronger now

Restoration Shaman is my go-to healer. After that I really don’t like how the other classes heal, but I have an 80 Discipline Priest, Holy Paladin, 2 Holy Priest, Restoration Druid, 3 Restoration Shaman.

One thing this game does really well is having a lot of healing specs that feel unique and play very differently.

What was fun to me in DF has changed a lot in TWW but I think its because I changed my own perspectives.

My most fun this season has been Lightsmith Paladin because its so hands-off but my greatest fun of all time is Holy Priest because its so hands-on.

Resto Shaman gave me some of what i felt i was missing from hpriest this season. It has a tool for every situation.

Evoker should be the most fun but i cannot get my head around the combo play. It feels counter intuitive. I have so much respect for people who make this spec look effortless.

Mistwalker was the most fun 2 years ago, at least in dungeons but could not play that way in raids, kind of like wildstalker Druid currently.

Disc is fine. It just feels like something is missing for me.

I"ve tried every healer this season except Monk (Pres only up to 76).

Im not having fun in this role the way i used to. I think its me.

None of them are fun anymore.

Resto Shaman is the healer that allows me to focus less on the raid frames. I can drop a totem and relax for a moment.
To me thats a huge selling point.

But thats because i dont like actually healing. If you want to play raid frames id probably go with Resto Druid. I love DoTs so HoTs surely checks a few of the same boxes.

Disc has the worst spot healing I’ve ever seen in my life, people are still calling it super duper fun though.

That should tip you off about the state of healing right now.

While never having played a Pres Evoker or bothered with Disc, i like melee, regardless of the roles.

Paladin is my preferred
Monk second
Shaman third

Monk is the most fun healer, and I haven’t played anything else even close. Holy almost gets there, and if it wasn’t slower than taking a poop after a cheese feast it could be fun too. But I find the others to be very meh.

I never played a healer, but going from what I observed? I’d choose Monk.

Hyper mobile, all kinds of neat CDs and you can even burst some poor folks down who pretend you can’t do damage. All of these are wins in my book.

not fun has caused my depression

I used to love monks for tanking and healer, but not currently.

Priests are pretty decent, but for fun a Dragon is best, there’s just something cool about flap healing. :dragon::dragon_face:

I like healing as a shaman, lot of AoE healing ability and they got a totem at one point that restores mana.

I’m surprised how much I like VW disc

I mostly heal in PvP and it comes down to two options.

  • Holy Priest - In an epic battleground where you have a skirmish line protecting you you have the throughput to keep a large group alive with enough efficiency to keep going for long periods. You also have AoE spells that damage others while healing your team. A well placed Priest can acquire a lot of honour kills. In smaller battlegrounds though, the lack of organization usually means you die quickly. That’s where spirit form comes in.
  • Resto Druid - Has similar advantages to the Priest, but no real AoE spells that damage and heal. The big advantage the Druid has is stealth. It helps you get into a safe position when you find yourself rezzing in the wrong place. You can also stay hidden until both sides have taken a lot of damage, then pop up and let loose a big AoE heal that brings your side back to almost full strength, and the other side can’t keep up. You can also stealth while drinking, and if you’re a Night Elf, use shadowmeld to break combat in order to do so. Mass entanglement and dash help you get away from melee groups.

Discweaver for me. They make me the big happy.

I like Rsham and Disc, in that order.

Castweaver is also fun for BGs/raids, but I don’t like Fistweaving so I don’t really play it in M+. Holy is alright too for PVP/raids, but I hate it in M+.
