Personally, I have always enjoyed Druids the most since you can cast heal over times then get to DPSin.
The hardest thing about disc at the beginning is to not freeze in panic situations.
Not offended per say just a common thing i see.
Chain Lightning actually hits like a train now, i thought it was trash too until i talked with the guildy mentioned above and turns out its really powerful. I don’t know since when.
How do you mean? It barely scratch the mobs HP off. Plus, the cast time is a huge turn off.
shaman is pretty damn fun if you use them properly. they are utility based and man i have a ton of fun in wpvp. people always like to pick on me and then BAM they get nuked XD
pop ur flame shocks on multiple targets - > insta LB’s ontop of the insta crits from the FS, CL → EQ.
it’s hits pretty fking hard bro.
Idk, i shoot up to 5k DPS with a couple flame shocks up just spamming it and using Lava Surge procs on 3+ targets fights.
Its new to me too as my memory was basically what you describe.
EQ? Last time I checked, Rshammy don’t have EQ.
Unless I’m blind.
We do if we play with the Earth Ele leggo, i imagine its what he means, otherwise you’re right.
Personally I enjoyed DPS as a resto shaman way more than druid or hpal. I love sending chain lightnings at mobs, it’s so satisfying. Same thing with lava bursts. Managing flame shock dots is also engaging for me.
For me it’s also satisfying to see totems drop as well.
While I love shapeshifting as a druid, in a healing role, shifting back and forth (because you can only cast regrowth in moonkin form) felt kind of awkward. As for hpal, I just didn’t really like being in melee to generate holy power for healing. It just felt weird to me.
Disc priest was actually pretty fun, lighting up enemies with holy power and seeing my allies health bars fill back up. However, it definitely felt different and harder than resto shaman. But using radiance was fun and and the CD seemed short enough.
Disclaimer: BUT, it must be said that I only did “easy” leveling dungeons and some timewalking dungeons. I haven’t tried healing in m+ yet. Will do that soon though probably.
Also, I don’t mean to sound like I’m trashing the other healing specs. Each one had something about it that I really liked. I just think I prefer resto sham and resto druid over the others (disc priest is also growing on me).
I hate doing DPS on resto druid, but I love stampeding roar, being able to catchup to the group quickly, and dropping their green AOE heal is really fun too.
But of course, Vulpera can’t be druids.
oh yea i forgot we talking about Resto XD maybe cause i was talking to him about ele but didn’t specify lmfao but to OP resto.
regardless they still bring a lot of good utility to a group but yea they are not known for their dps capabilities as a healer to begin with unlike say Hpallies. idk how disc fare atm but long ago if played properly a disc priest could keep up dps wise with hpally which was impressive but that was via a vid on a raid fight done by world first raiders and long ago
Us shorter races tend to have less options for transmog. It’s also not really my thing so I can’t answer that one. But you can check out how they look on WoWhead in the dressing room in whichever armors you think look cool.
We look so much cuter in our robes though, just look at me
You just described me perfectly.
You sure do! Many mail outfits have robes built in though, so it might still work out for you.
I mean vulpera heritage armor would also look nice for a shaman I think, and it would obviously fit
Hpal is the most fun to me
With practice if you ever decide to pvp as a healer, paladin lets you be a bully and run down people while throwing hammers at them as they run away from a healer
I’ve never pvped ever so idk if I’d be any good at it lol
Shaman, druid, and monk are my usual go to healers. Probably even in that order at this point. I’m trying to convince myself to dabble in holy pally, since we usually don’t have one on our raid roster.
I wish I could play Mistweaver, but almost no one want it. Bad reputation.
Thanks Blizz.
