Most fitting class for each expansion?

Obviously any class is fine, but given the circumstances and lore around each expansion some seem more suited to certain classes.

Burning Crusade - paladin
Wotlk - Death Knight
Cataclysm - Shaman
Mop - Monk
Wod - mage/warrior
Legion - Demon hunter
Bfa- rouge (specifically outlaw)
For Shadowlands I’m just going to assume Shadow Priest would be a good fit. Does your list differ?

How does DK not fit into shadowlands AND lk? lol

Its not that it doesn’t fit, I just think Shadow priest fits more
