Umm the mortal kombat theme from the first movie?

I mean they blew the entire budget on that song

Others I might have chosen have already been posted, and 'twixt the two I could not decide which I did like better.
I would have included Travel Demon as well, but alas, 'tis a medley of other songs.

I like to throw this around sometimes. It sounds “epic” to me but in a different way than the typical Hans Zimmerish sound.

Timestamped to right after it comes out of the quiet bit. Before that the song is
 weird. Like, it sets the tone but isn’t really something I’d normally sit and listen to, you know? So let’s timestamp past it.

Kicks in a little more at 5:06, then a bit more at 6:06, if you don’t want to listen to 2 and a half minutes of the thing you can skip forward to one of those.

I guess I latched onto “epic” more than “theme song” here, but oh well.

Here’s some Fairy Tail. Fairy Tail always had a fantastic main theme. They abused the hell out of it by having basically no other music, but it’s damn good, even if the show really isn’t. I listen to a lot of folk metal normally so this checks those boxes.

And since a lot of people are going more retro:

Neat intro but skip to 40 seconds if you want. I have a lot of Nostalgia for Lagoon, but one of the major reasons I remember it, I think, is because the music was good. I think they used this theme a couple times but I remember it from Eardon, some big rock monster boss.
