And there is no real reason NOT to allow it other than stubbornness on the part of Blizzard. SWToR has a legacy bank where all your characters can access everything (Republic and Imperial). ESO has a endless mats storage tab for subscribers that stores all mats and they are accessible to all toons. It is such a pain managing mats across multiple toons. And it is worse if you want to have both Horde and Alliance toons as you have no way of supporting them across factions. Why can’t my alts get “hand-me-downs” from my main? Why is it if I am exalted with a faction I still need to reach exalted on another toon for the ONE RECIPE I need for their profession? Its an arbitrary restriction.
