I think the real question here is, why is having a child such a make or break kind of thing in your life?
You lived this long without a child and got along fine, you made it this far.
yes, having a child in your life can be a grand thing but you must also consider the other side of the equation.
Having a child in your life is a huge loss of personal freedom.
Your life is no longer your own, everything you do will have to revolve in some way, around that child.
When/if you sleep.
What and when you eat.
Where and when you can go.
If you get in a bind somewhere down the road and money is tight, you must put the child first, you do without.
Spontaneous trips with your mate are almost totally out of the question.
Children are a money pit, you will always be under the pressure of bringing in far more money than you would ever need alone.
And if you and your mate should ever separate, there will be legal battles over custody and visitation, you will be bound to your present partner for life, like it or not.
Perhaps this is a blessing and you just canāt see it yet.

I suppose its less about the hypothetical child and more about having your hopes and dreams crushed by a bigot who has for some god forsaken reason been given a position of such power and respect that without infallible proof, they can ruin your life all they want
So you are going to let some miserable, rotten soul shut your entire life down?
Do you just roll over and accept them as the master of your destiny or do push them aside and keep moving forward towards your goals.
Your life is what you make it, do not allow someone else to have that kind of power over you and your future.
Everything is impossible until it isnāt, keep moving forward and go get that future you envisioned.
The only thing that can ever truly stop you, is you.

I just got back from staying at my friends house. Last week I talked them into a 24 hour psych ward when they told me they wanted to burn their house down to ātest the fire alarmsā.
Turns out they quit their anti-depressants cold-turkey. They were their for the best part of a week. Now theyāre doing better. Not 100%, but better.
So yes. When I see a forum thread, from a level 10 Void Elf alt, with a title related to suicide, I have my doubts about how genuine it is. Especially when the opening sentence is āIāve done this before!ā. And Iām sure thats why others felt the need to report it, thus it being flagged.
Seek professional help if youāre feeling this way.

Suggesting that people that want game and irl to stay seperate and have flagged are āutterly detestableā is pretty poor.

If this thread and your behavior here is the result if you being ārejectedā to be a foster parent, then itās for the best. You are not mentally stable enough for children.
Iām starting to think there is more to this story and youāre using this as a way to garner some random sympathy.

I get both sides of the argument here, honestly. I understand people want to vent about personal things. I also get people donāt want to read personal venting on a video game forum. Itās not always a hateful thing or even personal, though. Sometimes they just want to leave reality out of their fantasy.

She fully had it out for us and him.
She said she loved dogs but demanded he was locked away.
He was put in a room with a glass door meaning you could see the whole room from the outside.
Later she demanded to see the room he was in.
Once the door was open he ran around the house and thus an out of control dog.
As for her? She took 1 step in the room
