Feed back always matter. It is still not too late for them to stop acting like fools and discarding lore like it doesn’t matter in world building.

What lore would they be discarding by allowing orcs and night elves to be paladins? They are already integrated into the story…

Specifically what the mag’har witnessed in their unlock scenaro. As for night elves i am ok with them getting paladins.
And its impossible to consider orcs in our realm turning towards their belief in ancestry to become paladins to fight against the lightforged? I think that is a very clear storyline to be honest

Not when shadowmoon orcs exist and their tendency to listen strongly to other orcs above other races. Also blood and honor warrior vibes.
Blood and honor can be a paladin thing too though and doesn’t really hold up when they can be priests, paladins make far more sense with the “blood and honor” thing than priests do especially considering paladins were usually warriors first. Orcs have their faith in their ancestors that they call on as well. Ancestral orc paladins would be very very cool to see, and shadowmoon orcs are not really that relevant in the orcs of today, not as much as other tribes anyway, not sure what that has to do with this to begin with considering there are many orc tribes and they definitely do not strictly listen to shadowmoon orcs, hasn’t been that way in a long time.
I think a storyline involving orcs turning to their ancestral faith and becoming paladins would be very cool, especially if a lightforged enemy storyline is coming at some point.
I could see Lightforged customization on Forsaken (by Calia, if its even possible) and who knows, perhaps coming with Paladin. Only Blizz knows.

Uhhhh… no not really… the meaning of that phrase is far, far away from what a paladin stands for that it’s not even close to the themes of a paladin.

I just need Night Elf, Void Elf Kul’tiran, Gnome, Troll, Undead, and Nightborne Paladins.
But mostly Kul’tirans, Void/Night Elves, and Undead Paladins.

I mean, again, orcs can be priests and that has absolutely nothing to do with priest either. Maybe it doesn’t work for paladin, thats okay though because it doesn’t have to now since it doesn’t work with priest either.
Orc paladins focused on their ancestral beliefs would be very cool imo and absolutely doable especially with priest existing. I think they could make orc paladins less light focused than priests though and more ancestral focused like i’ve said. Also, attempting to follow logic for races here really doesn’t work anymore because any race that can use the light and be a priest can very easily be a paladin too, again all it requires is a very strong belief or faith in something.

… You do realize races can be priests lore wise only cover either shadow priests or holy priests of the respective races (lightforged is only canonaly holy priests) but specs are not restricted due to gameplay right?
Does people not look up dev interviews on this subject?
Also the light is used differently from priests/paladins.
priests channel the light externally, while paladins uses the light internally.

It doesn’t matter man I don’t know what to tell you. If you want to talk about dev interviews, watch the one very recently where they said they plan to have all races be all classes eventually. Now you don’t need to bend over backwards to provide your ‘lore’ reasons as to why x won’t work with y class, it is going to happen. Some will make more sense than others, but overall there is really nothing preventing an orc or night elf from being a paladin right now.

I’ve already got names saved for a Forsaken Paladin and Worgen Shaman for when it eventually happens. Still trying to settle on a good name for a Man’ari Warlock.
