More people will miss borrowed power systems than were complaining about them

I won’t miss too many things about Shadowlands, but my Night Fae blink will definitely be missed.

Here’s hoping I can soul bind with my dragon mount for a quick blink and a bit of movement speed. Being able to dodge something on the ground just to blink into something else on the ground was really convenient. Now I’ll just get hit by the original ability I didn’t notice like a loser.

“More people will miss borrowed”

Cite your sources please. Personally I am sick of bowered power and the husks of the items collecting dust in my bank. I’d shove the legion weapons in void storage so I never have to see them again, but they can’t be put in there because reasons.

this I agree, people who rave about talent tree against the old talent system are just uhhh. it doesnt really matter if we talking about being optimal, there is only 1 or 2 choices as always.

they did, like literally everything they talk about, content creators get their livings out of views so yeah they extra hype and extra hate stuff.
however I disagree we are getting less content necessarily, just because one content is removed doesnt mean you wont get another one add or increased.

this was pretty much already true, the only things that would change is CD and some minor interactions, however it wouldnt be a totally different thing.

I hate this argument that some of you people put forward so much. wow will die, and it wont be because of whatever flavor of the month reason bellular / asmongold / wow content creators convince everyone of. every mmorpg goes through the same boom bust life.

show me one popular mmo who’s subscriber numbers only went up and stayed up. When you cant find one explain to me why you think World of Warcraft will be any different.

Ultima Online was king, now its dead.
Runescape was massive now its a small population of nostalgia frogs.
Ever Quest was the new king, now its gone.
Asherons Call was popular then got cancelled.

WoW, FFXIV, Lost Ark, and others will also be on this list at some point, and the people who aren’t even born yet will be on the League of Legends mmo forums saying casuals are ruining their mmo.

Nope.

I mean, Legion was amazing right up till it got to the point where we had to grind AP until our eyes bled. The Class halls were awesome – and the artifact weapons were an awesome idea.

And then we had to give them up. That’s where Blizzard went wrong. They should have just kept expanding on the artifact weapon and refining how to improve them in BFA/Shadowlands instead of making up new stupid systems.

I also really liked not needing a weapon to drop, and chasing cool transmog options for my artifact weapons.

But if they did that, it wouldn’t have been borrowed power… cause you know… we wouldn’t have lost them in BFA.

The only good one was legion weapons. Even then it wasnt perfect.
Every borrowed system after that has been a failure. Az gear had the potential to be shifted to pvp or pve with the traits but they didnt do a good job with that system either.

Are people gonna complain about lack of content? Yea probably unless they keep their word about more frequent updates outside of the bigger content updates

Are people gonna want borrowed power back? Hell no. You dont need content creators to tell you that it felt like garbage having to farm them over and over todo content, be it pve cotent, keystones, or raids

Legions ap grind was bad. Bfas was bad, and shadowlands torghast grind for legendaries was bad

They will be as missed as titan forging. Which is none

No one had to grind ap like a lot of you people claim you ain’t world first raiders lol it’s not blizz’s fault you can’t control yourself. Blizz added nothing in df to replace all the time people spent with borrowed power.
And the people saying I can play alts now are just lazy I spent half sl unsubbed and got quite a few toons pretty geared with all the borrowed powers. It’s pretty simple they added no content in df to take up for all the time borrowed power consumed.

Here’s a reality check for you:

We never had a lot to do to begin with. Borrowed power systems and currency grinds existed to distract us from the fact that WoW is extremely small in content offerings.
