Please Blizz give us more things to do that are not combat oriented. Have more mog competition themes, a prop hunt to reuse cities, quests that are puzzles/treasure hunts! Also the poop quest in DF better be good.

The lack of any secret hunts that require differential equations to solve is Shadowland’s real downfall.

Funny you say that…there’s a broker in Oribos that sells pets in exchange for some gray items. When I first saw that, I was excited because I thought “hey, it’s just a fun distraction where I’ll go back to the old zones and grind some mobs to get those items”.
Well, of course, Blizzard being Blizzard, getting those gray items requires jumping through all kinds of hoops - like making lvl 1 character in a specific starting zone or having the item drop from a common mob but only if your character is lower than lvl 45 or something stupid, I did them all at one point but I don’t remember the details now.
Now, if they made a scavenger hunt like that, but being able to do it on my existing characters, regardless of level - that would be fun.

I’ll be sorely disappointed if there isn’t a Jeffrey Blumgold character remarking how big the piles of dragon poop are.
