Between that and the complete randomness of some of them, they just gotta ruin the fun factor.

As a MG performer (at events like World’s Faire Carnival and the Tournament of Ages) I agree, give us more instruments. You know goblins or gnomes created speaker systems, and I’d imagine someone might have created an electric keyboard. Right now we’re reduced to doing make-believe, and slapping down a sofa to use as a ‘keyboard.’

I RP as a Preformer and I have to agree. There are a ton of songs and such I’d love to use. I wish we could somehow expand on the midi’s for that add-on.
Speaking on keyboard and other instruments - I ran into a mechagnome with the last name Phonksong. I don’t know why, your post just kind of reminded me of it.

Oh, no, I don’t actually perform live. I find a song I wanna do, throw the link in watch2gether, and get the lyrics, and throw those into Story Teller, along with some emotes.

I’d be totally rocking it out live if I had a playable instrument in the game.
I’ve done live synth jams to prerecorded dance video I’ve made in WoW. It’s how I celebrate the New Year’s Eve dance party in WoW.

I’d perform live probably…maybe even compose songs in the game if that were possible. At last my skills as a bedroom musician would pay off!

They have tons of instruments, bands, concerts, weekend long music festivals, &c.
Pretty much any day of the week you can find a few people in a specific location in a major city playing music.
Ive always been fascinated with the people whose main pursuit in an MMO is to make music. I think thats pretty cool, although not something id personally do.

I use the midi function, however that also involves tweaking the instrument to whatever is closest, which is one of the major failings of Musician, you gotta make due. And it’s especially hard to get VOICES right.
