More Future Expansions. What's the Point?

I get that, but when more than half the playerbase is leaving, the business side of things takes over whatever you’re saying.

The OP made the original post, and replied to people. She even posted a video. I don’t know what you are going on about?

Meaningless.

Their past postings. Checked out their post history and it was just a barrage of new threads asking poll type questions. OP didn’t engage in any conversation aside from creating the thread. I just found it very suspicious

Like why are they trying to collect all this information

Anyone can post anything within the guide rules. I don’t see a problem with any of her posts. Oh and maybe just maybe she’s toxic jerk shy. Some people in the forums are really nasty. No need to be paranoid. At least her posts give everyone a voice.

New locations, making the world bigger? It’s a huge part of what makes an MMORPG what it is.

Um…What. Yeah, Ok. What you said. No, addiction is very bad. Sometimes I realize that wow players spend most of their free time playing a video game. Sad much. I think it’s gotten so bad that if there was a internet nation wide blackout mmorpg players would go crazy. Not good.

I said nothing of the sort. Please stop imagining things.

if you no longer enjoy the game, you shouldn’t force yourself to play.

As long as they copy other IP and make their idea a little better we are good to go.

I gave my opinion. Sorry you don’t like it. Laterz.

Ok. Fair enough. My answer to your question is: I think from what the OP and others have said. That the OP should if she feels burned out of wow she should stop playing for a while and see how she feels then. And if she still feels unhappy after such a break then she should just stop playing wow. I don’t think the OP going to classic is an option for her now. “you can never go home again.”

You mean that game that’s pretty much dead until new raids are released?

I think that is exactly the problem with wow and most addictive mmorpgs. After playing for years people will (not realizing it) Force themselves to play. Not all players of course, but a lot of people do this. They will be sitting at home and have nothing to do. they might watch a movie. They might then play a console game that will bore them. Soon they will be sitting at their pc or laptop. they will almost automatically log into wow. then sit there looking at the characters selection screen. Eventually they will select a character and play for a while. At some point they will stop playing their character and leave it standing somewhere while the player sits there staring at the screen. Not even thinking anymore. Why? Because they have nothing else to do with their life. And staring at Wow on the pc screen gives them a degree of comfort. It’s their only safe place to go (mentally) when life starts bearing down on them. Here I’m talkiing about the addicted players.

PS it is not only video games. most of my friends and family can’t live without cellphones. If they loose the damn thing or their signal fails. OMG they start having spasms and foaming at the mouth. Pulling their hair out in clumps is just a few of the symptoms.

And finally with like all addictions. If you asked the person who is addicted, if they are addicted. They will say that they are not addicted. Very few wow players will admit that they are addicted to wow.

That’s still no reason to be advocating for them to stop making new expansions.

blizz see this game lasting 20 more years. and i love it.

You literally don’t have to play retail and the fact that it exists does not need to bother you.

Money and entertainment. Think of it as a story book not your MLG epeen gainer.

Posting in a Tara thread
