You saying it doesn’t make it so. A single instance of it happening in a raid is hardly canon.
TBH DH just need a healer spec so we can be meta x 3 and need no other classes for anything.
Xhul’horac doesn’t contradict anything. The only reason he explodes is because he was being overflowed with Fel energy, some way Varian exploded when he was being overflowed with Fel energy. The simple combination of the two isn’t destructive. You’re just flat out wrong.
They definitely do need more than two specs at lest.
I definitely see Void Elves and Nightborne being able to take up the class, as well as Orcs and Draenei for sure as they would have had exposure to the Illidari back on Draenor. Humans and Trolls seem to be a popular choice.
I don’t mind any, if all races being able to have the class, as it is a hero class after all.
Also a third Void based spec could also be neat, as the Void is useful in combating Demons as well. Not to mention it would finally provide a third spec.
I literally quoted the lore… from the developers.
And if you’re just going to ignore lore, then there’s no conversation to be had with you.
He explodes because the two are volatile together.
Right from the descriptions:
The energies of Shadow and Fel react, unleashing a massive explosion.
Infusing someone with both can make them explode. Fel on its own does this. Fel mixed with Void absolutely doesn’t go well.
But I’m going to leave it at that. I need to get some sleep. Night!
I didn’t know I needed this until now
No, you quoted the stub from the wiki entry where the devs explain their thought process in the creation of Xul’Huroc. No where do they say “ALL VOID CREATURES EXPLODE WHEN COMBINED WITH THE FEL!” That’s just you saying that. As I noted before, the lore a la Serpent Shrine Caverns originally stated that Blood Elves were too weak to being Demon Hunters, with Leothoras The Blind being the only one to survive the process, and he went insane. Obviously, boss fight mechanics and flavor lore doesn’t necesarily make it fact.
Velves shouldn’t be Demon Hunters both because fel and void don’t mix and because then they’d just be getting basically blood elf DHs but for Alliance and not a new race of DH (like say, Draenei).
If you’re going to totally misinterpret developer notes from the wiki and literally make up your own lore, there’s no conversation to be had with you.
I mean there’s maybe one example of void and Fel not mixing and that’s it.
There’s also another boss in the same raid that involves Shadow and Fel mixing with no consequences
Paladins aren’t as exclusive a club.
I was just going to say, go find some gnome ones…then googled some, and his popped up. He does some super work, but I also looked up panda so here we go. claps paws

Top picture is weirdly hot and I’m feeling very conflicted right now.
Shes kinda sexy. Step on me and Eye Beam me Panda DH mommy.
Same here.
Yeah I don’t know where the whole “these magics don’t mix” thing comes from… I don’t think there has been anything stated regarding any of the magics not mixing, other than the (imo arbitrary and placating) statement that light magic causes non-harmful pain to death entities, such as death-bound undead, aka most undead including the forsaken.
The only thing that seems like it would make sense as far as magics not mixing would be their direct opposites (fel and arcane, light and shadow, life and death) and even then… the whole idea of a discipline priest is using both but keeping them separate. So they can just go the same justification route as disc priests or else do some kinda firebender-creates-lightning-by-separating-the-two-and-then-letting-them-crash-back-together interaction.
That would mean blizzard would have to do some work and you know if it isn’t virtue signaling they will not do it…
Don’t be shy, ask her out on a date…on top of all that, pandas are great cooks.
