More Changes Due to Lawsuit

Hello, Bearhands. As you are well aware, I never know what I’m talking about when you’re present. I do this just to give you a headache because I have nothing better to do than devote my time to throwaway alts.

Dont do that… Thats a real :poop: take. People play the game as a past time, often to forget about exactly this kind of nonsense. It’s pretty myopic to blame them for not wanting to sacrifice that, not to mention the friends they’ve made (who often constitute a support group.) If you want to quit go ahead.

But taking this “more righteous than thou” attitude and attacking people who choose to continue to play and support the many employees at Blizz who are overwhelmingly NOT the people mentioned in these complaints… is really about as short-sighted as the people defending blizz.

TLDR: Take a lap

I honestly have no idea who you are so its definitely a stretch to say you’re giving me a headache. I’ve never made a secret of my mains. I just choose not to post from them. And I have over 4k posts. Not necessarily something to be proud of, lol… But this is definitely not a “throwaway alt.” I stand by most everything I post, definitely everything I’ve posted in regards to this situation

So let me get this straight, you think its okay to keep giving money to these people all because the game was made 15 years ago? What they did is current, and they will keep releasing content for TBC and wrath and more. You will be directly supporting anything they have done. Have fun

I, for one, am very glad they’re getting rid of references to sexual assault in game.

Thanks Blizzard, you’ve solved the problem of all the sexual harassment coming from men reading names of toons and then harassing women because of it. I know that upon reading Fras Siabi’s mailbox in Strat I felt an unseen force compelling me to shout crude sexual advances at women passing by in the street.

You’ve done it again Blizzard. You have saved the world.

The laptop you’re using utilized slave labor to get it in front of you. Let me get this straight: you support slave labor?

Comparing slave labor with oppressed people to sexual assault in the workplace? Pretty far stretch

Have they told us what exactly they’re changing yet? I see a lot of comments on things they should or should not change, and/or telling others what they should or should not want changed. I also see many comments by the --expletive deleted-- people who believe they have the right to tell others to “cancel” the company because they’ve been accused of --insert politically charged accusations here–… but I’d like to know just what they are, in fact, changing.

Personally the part of all this that worries me is the part of their statement that says they’re changing things to “reflect today’s world” (or remove/change things that don’t “reflect today’s world,” I forget the exact wording off hand). To me that sounds like they’re going to be scrubbing the game and making things pc and “cancelling” things that are not currently approved by the ruling party.

I have no desire to play a politically scrubbed game. If I’m correct in my interpretation of their “today’s world” goal, then I can honestly say that would be right at the top, with very few others, of my list of reasons to quit WoW. Not to be “making a statement” or any other such nonsense (to me virtue signalling is one of the heights of ignorance, lol). I would quit simply because I will be so disgusted with the game and not enjoy playing it, and therefore will simply move on to some other games. No more, no less, but there it is.

Being told what they’re planning to change, and what they mean by “reflect today’s world” would be appreciated.

It should be obvious current Blizzard is completely corrupt and out of touch, hence their sexual harassment allegations. Expecting anything that’s actually decent from this company at this point is laughable. I am sorry but it is time for everyone to move on from Blizzard and try new things. Don’t be sad its gone, be glad you got to experience it to begin with. Let’s hope ashes of creation is a step in the right direction

Just a figment of your imagination.

Timing is everything. Happened in 2013. Cosby’s dirty laundry hadn’t begun to reveal itself until 2014.

You can’t lie and say that the timing of everything is awful then, what are the odds of them having a BILL COSBY suite of all things then having these allegations?

Again, this happened in 2013.

Hannibal Buress didn’t start talking about Cosby until 2014. The suits didn’t come until 2015.

Literally everything you’ve said so far is a

Not even remotely correct. “Cosby is a rapi$t” was already a mainstay in Burress’s act in 2014. So obviously the allegations preceded 2014 by a fair amount

Dude. Please use your brain just a little bit before you put finger to keyboard…

If it was well known to the point a comedian was referencing it in his act IN 2014, it seems pretty likely they knew about it a year earlier

It’s your brain, dude. I’m not real, I only exist as a figment of whatever noggin’ you’re using.

You don’t get to tell other people how to virtue signal. But if this is your preferred method sure… go ahead. You can start right now by no longer posting on these forums… But it seems you’re too addicted to :poop:-posting to stop…
