I personally would rather ban the people who keep on complaining about multi boxers. I really have to wonder if there is only one person posting on multi characters complaining about this because I just do not encounter multi boxer issues on any server I play.

But I can’t fully blame him for that, I see it semi-often on here. People seeing someone say a word that sounds cool so they wanna use it too. Notice how he was called out for deflecting, now he’s using the word too. It’s like clockwork.

If you use your IRL money to gain an unfair advantage in-game AND that keeps me from being able to level my character, you should be banned, your accounts permanently deleted and your chipmunks pillaged.
that’s my point. Why should I be forced to wait to level because your greedy behind wants to hoover up all the levelling mobs and mats in an area?
But hey, if you remove the advantages you get from cheating with multi-boxing I’d be fine. How about a 20% reduction in your dps? Or perhaps removing the API which allows multiboxing in the first place. Or start a server for multiboxers to segregate them from the non-cheating player-base?
We covered this last night. We know blizzard allows it, and made its decision in 2008. We are recommending they revisit that decision and place a moratorium on multiboxing that severely limits the benefits of that cheating.
Remember, the Germans in WW 2 who tried to exterminate groups based on their ethnicity were also doing what the rules allowed. Still doesn’t make it right.

They made their decision in 2004 before the game even launched. They’ve repeatedly stood by that decision over the years.
There’s no need to revisit anything about multiboxing.
