farm gold= free account.
Try harder.
Given this, how to you extract IRL money for in-game currency? Real business must have a way to make an IRL profit, and selling G or any other in-game item is definitely a violation of the ToS. Exactly how can it be a real business then?
I hear an engine sputtering… and some pistons knocking.
Exactly.
anyone with a computer and internet likely has enough money for a woW account.
If they have that much, they can at least dual box. Farm the gold to pay for the extra account.
These guys have nothing, but it is entertaining to watch the mental gymnastics
yeah this guy has completely lost his mind lmao
Haha, this thread is funny. People crying about a non-issue.
what?
you trade gold for a token to pay for game time.
so kinda like how you can buy a better computer, better internet, a better chair, and better monitors?
I read it three times and thought I was having a stroke lol.
yeah…the mouse died on the wheel
Would this also include people who can afford better computers and faster internet connections?
It ain’t a business if you make less than $20 a day, dude. Based on your own (wildly exaggerated) claim of making 400K G in 4 days, that is barely enough to buy 1 token every couple of days. It can’t be a real profit maker or business unless the MB’er is violating the ToS and selling stuff for IRL $, in which case they are greatly violating the ToS.
Are you suggesting MB’ers are running businesses in WoW and making enough profit to sustain themselves?
Meh, doesnt’ matter you’d need to make many millions of G to support the game (electricity, hardware, etc) over time so that it wouldn’t be sustainable. So, my point was your previous suggestion that it was a IRL business can’t be true.
As much as I would love to paint you and all MB’ers as violators of the ToS for that reason, it wouldn’t be justified.
Instead, I’ll go back to my original statement on this. You aren’t extracting money from the game, you are spending your IRL money to gain an advantage over other players. As such, multiboxing should be banned.
I know quite a few players (and some are boxers) that haven’t spent real money for gametime since the launch of tokens. I know at least three players sitting on gold cap on at least 4 toons.
That’s not the same as running a business. They are simply supporting their habit. But “knowing quite a few” is a far cry from saying all of them do. Currently anyone can pay for 8 accounts and use them to multibox without buying tokens. That creates a unfair advantage using IRL money. Lets close that loophole then and say that there can only be one paid account per Blizz profile…
Dude, if you was any greener, you’d be an orc. This whole diatribe is just plain jealousy.
Do you even talk to those that play the Auction House? They treat it very much like a business. It’s all about maximising profit with little expenditure.
They never said irl money they said gold .dude where are you taking this to?
Cool. Now go make a game, and make the rules on what is allowed, and what isn’t, and then you won’t have to worry yourself anymore about wow mr developer of software. Btw I’m a rocket scientist, and a brain surgeon. And nobody lies on the internet either
Owning a better computer “creates an unfair advantage using IRL money”.
Owning a faster internet connection “creates an unfair advantage using IRL money”.
Being able to afford to play the game longer “creates an unfair advantage using IRL money”.
Just stop already.
I think I heard a rod thrown…
dude…just stop…youre embarassing yourself. Ive made 750k in FOUR days playing this game. 750,000 buys how many tokens at 165,000 a pop?
its ok if you cant…but dont presume to tell US that WE cant.
mummble mumble blah mumble. No clue…dont even care to know.
ANYONE can buy enough tokens with FARMED gold to box…END of discussion.
glek brox florp tooj.
that makes more sense than your arguments.
again…ANYONE can make enough gold farming to box.
and youd be a liar…
go back to sleep.
