I don’t really think that streamers are sought out by them to be invited per se. Most of the content creators, at least the bigger ones, have contacts in blizzard, be it for interviews or whatever, so they get added to their friends and family lists and get prio’d that way.
Lol what? Classic needs all the help it can get as far as promoting the game and streamers/creators are the only ones who can do that.
Even if you don’t realize it, most people have gotten back into WoW because they watched some YouTubers.
I highly doubt it’s that strict. The classic beta doesn’t get as much as much traction as something like retail.
I’d imagine they’re pretty desperate for anyone who wants to pay them to test their game.
Beta is pretty much nothing right now. If they opened the flood gates it would just open the flood gates on whining about the beta. It was obvious a toss up and get a client online type of build. I suspect the next time you see a build… maybe two… hit the ground running and the beta is more than a shell of itself I am willing to bet a lot more people get invites. For sure once the MOP zones open up.
But for now its just really a nothing burger and I wouldn’t worry about it.
Super excited to test out the MoP Beta been waiting over a week, checking it every day. Would love to have it before the weekend.
There wasn’t a lot invited I think I saw a screenshot with like 15 people. Seeing at the rate they’re going it feels like they’re gonna take it slow.
I can’t wait for MOP to go live butt it scares me what bad things they will do it.
Can we somehow level a Monk now, or do we have to get selected into the Beta to do so? Also, people in the Beta leveling Monks will they just get to keep those Characters when it goes Live?
No you won’t beta isn’t early access.

You’ll need to wait for the MoP pre-patch if you want to level a Monk/Pandaren.
Progress made in the beta does not carry over into the live version.
