It’s slowly happening but we need Horde on MG. Let’s make this the #1 RP realm for both sides. Everyone needs to create a Horde Moonguard char right now or some time today.
No ifs ands or butts.
hehe butts.

I prefer wyrmrest accord. Live the name there. Also dragons.
I was on MG Horde a long time ago. Like when the server opened in TBC. I just don’t have the patience to sit around in a city waiting for people to emote at me so I can respond and wait another 10 minutes for a response. WoW RP is just boing.
But I don’t RP as Horde. If I want to RP as elves, I’ll be on Alliance. I wouldn’t object if more people move to MG since cross-faction guilds are a thing now, but I personally have no interest in being Horde for RP.
I still have my Horde character on MG from back when the server first opened and it was a big Horde RP server.
It’s not gonna work out because the horde typically just wants to pvp, and Alliance MG is very much against pvp disrupting their RPs in Stormwind
No.
/10 char
What happened? I hadn’t played in like 7 years, back then it was more lively. I come back to find Silvermoon empty. Not many people in Orgrimmar and Trade chat is usually crickets. How did Horde side go dead?
It happens more than you think. Never really hear complaints about it. Especially in Goldshire. That’s why I love it. Always pvp going on in goldshire.
Probably because void elves would be my guess. Back in WoD I was trying to get into Horde RP, but since I refused to play Belves, I didn’t have too many options. I know non-belf rp existed but I didn’t have any luck. Now that Alliance has high elves in all but name, I’m guessing most belf rpers moved to Alliance. Maybe cause cross-faction guilds are a thing, Horde will repopulate.
I have 5 Ally on MG. So, ok, Horde. Yeah why not, I’ll make a few.
I refuse. What dumb idea.
Plenty of those at Goldshire.
I know god forbid we bring community to a major RP realm. How stupid!!!
Exactly. Only losers come to MG Horde. Need less of them.
No thanks, I’m good
Are you going to give me bags, gold for riding, and help my alt level?
There was a point when it became the norm that if you wanted to RP on Horde you went to WRA due to the need for players to consolidate as their servers continued to die for various reasons.
Though this isn’t exactly new either, people were consolidating around Wrath and Cataclysm, just it wasn’t as evident as it later became. The problem is Blizzard put in all of the dead server stopgaps way too late so WRA had just kind of become the place for Horde to be. Most newcomers who are looking to RP and end up deciding Horde will flock there as well not knowing they could roll on any other server and achieve the same.
Moon Guard was also the same sort of thing around the same time though it cemented itself as the Alliance RP server much faster largely due to the attention and reputation it was receiving at the time. Which, we can point fingers and say it’s a small group, that’s not the point I’m making. The point I’m making is that reputation gives off the impression to people “Oh okay, this is where people do the roleplaying sort of activities then” since it isn’t exactly a commonplace behavior in PvE or PvP circles, despite PvPers tend to use similar terminology.
The few horde I’ve seen on MG are the most toxic players I’ve met in 14 years of playing. There’s a guild whom a few of these forum members are in that is absolutely disgustingly toxic.
