Chromie is the worried commoner child fascinated by the world while Lady Moonberry is the mischievous high class child constantly pulling pranks and throwing parties.
It’s like the difference between Hanyuu Furude(worried a lot and acting immature and childish when her Players aren’t directly controlling her while dreading pranks) and Satoko Hojo(always mischievously pranking people while maintaining a high class speech pattern while being a lot closer to the Game Master’s personality than Hanyuu herself) from the Higurashi When They Cry Horror(just to warn you if you look it up) Visual Novels.
And for a Western Non-Horror example let’s look at the difference between Izzy Moonbow, Fluttershy and Pinkie Pie from My Little Pony:
Izzy Moonbow & Fluttershy are not that different from Chromie and Pinkie is not that different from Lady Moonberry aside from the vocabulary(technically Lady Moonberry would be a cross between Pinkie and Rarity).
Should’ve been Herne. The head of the Wild Hunt would have absolutely been the best character from Ardenweald to be in the Dream, supporting the defense of Amirdrassil.
