Our guild is based on the Wastewander faction from World of Warcraft’s existing lore.
(IC) Wastewanders have suffered at the hands of Pirates, Goblins, Trolls, and the wildlife of the desert itself. Protecting themselves, they became known as bandits, grave robbers, thieves. When the way to Uldum was opened, the Caravan moved its way into the new desert to discover the Ramkahen and the Tol’vir race as a whole. They joined the Uldum Accord during the fight against N’zoth, even after being insulted directly by High Commander Kamses, after having spent years being attacked by Horde and Alliance adventurers. They sent their warriors into battle against N’zoth’s forces and had to collect many Caravan Coins off their bodies, even burning the infected dead. After losing many of their fighters to the cause, N’zoth was defeated by Azeroth’s champions. When N’Zoth fell, the champions returned to their distant wars, while the Wastewander remained among the dead, the wounded, and the enemies still crawling beneath Uldum’s sands. No supplies given, no lands offered, no assistance, just used and discarded. Lorthamor (GM) was sent out by Navid Sandstone to cause chaos to the Alliance and create a splinter caravan, Scorpid’s Eye. Cause in-fighting, assassinate politicians, disrupt supply chains, anything to slow their progress to make them feel the pain the Wastewander felt and to keep their eyes off the desert while they rebuild their forces. Not rebuilding for conquest…But to ensure they cannot be taken advantage of again.
