I used PayPal as my payment method for the subscription to WoW. I just noticed that I am being charged $16.11 for this? I thought the monthly fee was $14.99?

Did Blizzard increase the monthly subscription? Or is something else going on that I am not immediately understanding?

One of the charges came from my PayPal credit account and the other charge came from my bank account but on both occasions, I am being charged $16.11. One transaction is dated Jan 9, 2020 and the other dated February 9, 2020.

My first guess would be taxes. Depending on where you live, it’s possible that you’re required to pay taxes on digital subscriptions now.

I would agree with Perl. It looks like that is just the subscription rate plus any applicable taxes.
