But I thought botting was against the EULA
Except when Blizzard endorse it, of course.
Explaining to a Vulupa was your first mistake there. Sorry about that sweetcheeks. Iām not surprised flag system will send me on another vacation soon.
Well, they ARE changing things very very slowly. There is an option to put people on ignore now at least, but I wonder if they sent instructions to discourse to add it and discourse was feeling stubborn because it appears to have a limited time effect. Likeā¦ Why? Why can I only put a person on ignore for 4 months or whatever the max is? Even discord lets me mute a server indefinitely.
I was thinking the other day they should get rid of trust levels and the perks altogether, since it seems to just make everyone frustrated. Go back to just plain text (no gifs or vids in posts) and links are just text for players to choose if they copy or not.
Noooo not my T3. Itās my only sense of achievement!
Yes because thatās so 2020 to be the only gaming forums of a small indie company that struggle to post a link.
Itās nice if you are a regular on the forums to have that sense of achievement, but then some people lose it and just feel frustrated. Tack on all the spammy gifs and videos and it justā¦ Seems to be a circus honestly. Like do the gifs and goofing off really add anything important?
It seemed like it was supposed to be an avenue to post helpful stuff, or maybe help discussion along, but it doesnāt seem to do any of that from what I have seen. Maybe rarely.
I use it for good, whenever I can, but thats sadly not too often needed.
Maybe for feedback on the next expansion, or in class sections of the forums? I dunno.
I like helping with finding perfect mogs, that requires images and wowhead links?
Occasional linking to argus/classhall guides cause that mess NEEDS a guide, stuff like that.
What if you went inactive and lost TL3 though? Would you come back and be annoyed enough to post about it?
There is an email generated when you get a suspension/ban that quotes the post that triggered it and what rule it breaks. Some people donāt get the email for whatever reason, but they do send it.
Iād be sad, maybe post a whine thread about it, but then just continue doing my regular stuff. Thats how I got it. I never tried hard for it or anything.
See? Iām one of those then, that didnāt get the email.
Thatās kind of why I think it would actually help players if it didnāt exist. When you weigh the pros and cons the cons seem to stack higher.
I just got back from a week. I did get the email but no quote or reason or timer on it. Had to come look up here to know when I can post again.
Honestly it was very cherry picked. Seems to be a commonality to get suspended if none of the post contains anything regarding discussing the game.
I miss myself sometimes but only for some seconds when I just space out on thoughtsā¦
Thatās oddly fitting for a void elf to say
thatās implying I rp which I donātā¦
Oh I wasnāt saying that. I just thought it was fitting
