Name of skill.. is a bit gimmicky & lame sounding to me. Does not mesh well with the other monk skill names, that really fit the monk theme.
Maybe instead call it.. “Hydra Fists” or “Hydra Blitz” or “Hydra Punch”.

It has been Fists of Fury since Monk was introduced in MoP, and a name change is the least of Monk’s issues.

also… why do ww monks gets a skill where you don’t press buttons for 5 seconds waiting for the channel to finish
Because we’ve always had it.
It is 4 seconds reduced by haste, so most of the time it’s closer to 3 or 3.5 channel time. Plus with Heart of the Jade Serpent its channel time is cut in half.
Windwalker was always designed to be a spec that had time where you weren’t pressing a button, whether it is because you’re channeling FoF, waiting for Energy, or waiting for an ability to come off cooldown. It’s just how the spec was designed. There are plenty of specs that are always pressing something.
Does tend to be a bit too long though, especially now with the talent of 1 second extension

A ton of the Monk names and animations come from old school Kung Fu or Street Fighter II references.
