Don’t try to show off to the lowbies in dungeons and this won’t be an issue. It’ll just be something you live with like the rest of us do.

Yes you can, quite easily. He just needs an alternate weapon with weapon chain.
Silence will prevent warriors from using Shout abilities.
Your friend probably read a guide that said that Battle Shout spam is the best threat and he should just spam it, and he doesn’t try to do anything else or learn anything on his own.
Tell him to actually use his melee abilities, which are not affected by silence.
The only annoying effects I cannot get past without screen-punching, are diseases, curses, etc, that drop stats by up to 50% for many minutes beyond the mob being dead.
- Debuffs like Disarm do in fact have a “cooldown” in the form of diminishing returns. Each successive disarm within that window affects you for a shorter pierod, until you go immune outright.
- How on earth did you get full T1 without learning about swapping Weapon Chains and/or Disarm Immune gloves against targets that disarm?

I find this pretty funny… because
A) you have neither of those weapons…
B) and if you did, you still would not need them in stockades as a 60…
C) you are calling for a nerf of one of the easiest instances in the game because of your inability to go in to stockades to farm 20 silver and a stack of Linen cloth

You mean a level 60 with tier gear who is soloing a level 25-30 dungeon, right?
Maybe “they” never tested that exact combination. Maybe that exact combination was NOT their main goal in re-creating Vanilla. If so, they didn’t “kill” anything. They simply didn’t give top priority to a scenario that YOU happen to like.
Man this stuck around and tbh I didn’t get notifications, so I’m sorry I didn’t acknowledge this sooner. I also apologize the title seems like I’m a super whiny demanding person, it feels so long ago.
I wasn’t trying to insinuate that it was wrong as much as I thought that mobs with abilities sharing a global cooldown (e.g. a 1-2 second window after using a Stun where they won’t stun immediately off cd) would be a quality of life change.
Obviously this isn’t the direction that it will go, Blizzard hasn’t changed a whole lot, but that was the idea. I still personally like it, but I do understand the alternative.

Yes I see the date on the OP, but it cannot be stated clearly enough that this is a L2P issue.
This is not an insult in the least, it’s just how we are suppose to handle things in game. Different NPC have different mechanics and none of them are so complicated that we cannot function. 99% of the time there is a solution. In your case as a prot warrior a weapon chain is a good solution to your problems. You can also use Grenades.
