I have a few girl chars just for completion but most of my toons are male.
Mostly males here.
Some females if I like the model better, like for pandas and gnomes.
Honestly OP, why does it bother you enough to make a post about it?

Yep. Dude here, unashamed. 70% of my toons are female for two reasons.
- Assthetics, because if you have to look at it for hours, fems are just better
- Size. Leveled up a male tauren pally with ginormous shoulders, and it was a pain to see around him. Smaller is better
Now, I don’t play as a fem, as in true RP. Just don’t roll that way. /shrugs

That’s how I choose my characters. I look at tmogs and see which both type fits their armor the best

Who cares? I play females on agility classes because it makes more sense, and males are generally way too bulky. I’ll never accept male Orc Rogues. It just doesn’t jive with me. Also females for finger wagglers, for the same reason. Are you telling me some Human male with forearms bigger than Popeye has decided to cast spells instead of punch things? I doubt that.
I don’t go out of my way to tell people I’m a girl, but if someone makes the assumption, I won’t correct them. And if it’s someone I’ll never see again, I might milk it for some preferential treatment…guys love giving girls free stuff for no reason.
I have mixed female/male chars, i just choose the race and sex based on what i think fits more the class i am creating at the moment.
HMTauren - Male Warrior
Tauren - Male paladin
Troll - Female hunter
Nightborne - Female Mage
Forsaken - Male DK
Maghar Orc - Female Shaman

Well that is true. Sometimes people are surprised to find out I’m a girl irl. Lots of people just assume I’m a guy roleplaying as a girl haha now that I think about it. That’s okay with me though.

I’ve played mostly female characters since EQ and I love that it drives some people crazy. My character is going to be cool looking or hot /shrug I’m a simple man.

For me, it all depends on the model.
I mostly play male characters, but some races I will usually only play females. Night elves and draenei, particularly since the female models are far better than the male models.

Err, yes. Pretty obviously this is the case.
I’m a guy, and the majority of my characters are female. It isn’t about perving at your character, though female blood elves and draenei do have a certain… wiggle… that has kept me entertained.
It’s more about the aesthetics of certain race models and class armor types. Some of the combinations just don’t look right to me. It’s a purely personal thing.
In other games I play as male characters just fine. Because the male character models just look better.
