Oh, gnome mage is cool but I play TWW with my 15 year old daughter. I played week 1 of vanilla thru WotLK as an orc warrior with my buddies. Raiding alliance cities, big pvp fights at the summoning stone, griefing the alliance. It went from “crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of their women!” to picking flowers and “this place is so cute, let’s take a screen shot daddy.” That’s the difference.
When i used to run BGs a lot, hunters were always the class I hated seeing more than anything. Rogues would sap me…lmao…yeah, ok and when I can move again youre dead lol.
Hunters and that stupid pet were far more annoying than anything else if you ask me.
They really need to start doing some BG specific nerfs. Classes play totally different in BGs v Arena. Classes like MM hunter just make it unfun (if the player is semi competent). Would love to see some BG specific tuning passes that only apply when in a BG environment.
Also, give Evokers a PvP talent for decent range please. Try and play one in a BG against any “Melee” when you are not tanky in the slightest, or just get outranged by every caster. Mobility doesn’t matter when you can’t get in range at all.
Well, I wish you the best having fun with your daughter playing TWW. I tried to get my three boys into playing World of Warcraft, it was a no go. All three of them are way too into games like Call of Duty, and other FPS games.
Oh, I came back for BFA cause my two boys play. My girl joined DF and she didn’t t want to play the “evil monster team” (that still hurts) with her brothers and I couldn’t let her play alone while I run around having fun burning elf trees with her brothers. So, I took one for the Brotherhood and made Scrunch. And here we are.
It happens everywhere, though in arenas is less noticeable because you have to hardfocus MM or you die so they can’t just freely spam Aimed Shots from 50 yards like they do in BGs.
I honestly think they should remove the stealth, and they’d still be relatively balanced lol.
Let BM and Survival keep Camouflage, but get rid of it for MM Hunters.
Not being able to see them before they descend on you is half the issue.
The burst is fine- if you can see it coming and react appropriately.
MM Hunters feel like Rogues, but ranged, and don’t have to rely on crowd control to kill you, so it just feels bad when you get 50%+ of your hp gone as soon as combat starts.
Which is more or less how combat against an MM goes- they will likely hit you before you hit them.
Even Boomkins have a little bit of ramp-up, it’s not all instant.
Great point, maybe if they didn’t have the ability to de-cloak, trap and fire all at the same time basically. We have no time to react. Maybe if it was a slight delay in decloaking? Like, for 2 seconds after de-cloak you cant do anything??? 1 second?
I guess you’re right, I could handle the damage or at least have a shot with some notice…
Hunters are annoying, but I find frost mages more annoying when playing melee because they have so much CC, about 4 blinks with alter time, a polymorph, temporary invisibility, an immunity and a physical block.
