Thats not what Iâm saying. Being durable and being slippery are two diffeent things. I wouldnât exactly call hunters durable. I think you know what Iâm trying to say.

Several specs stand out as useful for different reasons, clone spam and damage, fear spam and damage, massive AoE and poly spam, strong MS effects and damage, ECT. MM Hunters damage isnt unique, itâs range is the second thing is has going for it and people with less range (everyone else) donât like it.
But, they shouldnât be. If they get pinned in and cornered they should be punished.
That is the main problem for MM in arena, itâs far easier to corner them in arena than open field BGs. This is basically the main issue that Blizzard keeps trying to fix by buffing their damage (???), which doesnât help them in arena beyond gimmicky oneshot goes that good arena players shut down but further degrades the quality of BGs.
If MM damage was as high as the fables suggest, they would always kill someone in the opener and be Glads in record time.
Hunter donât get to free cast in arena and in BGs their targets often donât have healers or trustworthy healers.
Agreed, the point is never to get pinned, but if we do our defensives donât make us tanky in the least bit, what they do is allow the opportunity to escape. I can turtle and disengage out of trouble, I can throw traps behind me to slow pursuit and so forth. You know, not durable, but slippery.
Turtle and the heal are both pretty strong, they are just on long cooldowns so they canât sustain in arena very well, but the long cooldowns are fine in BGs. Many BGs I donât even need to use turtle or my heal or rarely do, so they are often up when I actually do need them.
Theyâre not free casting much in Blitz either if enemies are smart. Iâll have 3-5 enemies stop whatever they were doing to come kill me once camo is removed in about half the games. It the difference between being near the top or actually top damage and doing almost nothing useful outside of being a distraction.

Sniper shot is at least.
It becomes not overtuned once you put it in arena with melee Which is why its become so dumb in bgs is cause their strat for making mm viable is just "oh just make it do more damage in order to force melee in arena to retreat.
Also in arena you have a healer who is there to handle their ridiculously overpowered opener in a bg if you open on a class with no self healing with that sniper chakram opener they are screwed cause they have no self sustain.
Doesnât translate well into a bg setting where mm hunters are in the back of the pack just teeâing off on everyone with 0 melee in sight.
Guys you donât understand, MM is completely fine in bgs because they are squishy, it is not like they can kill you from 60y+ away, safe behind their team.

So I floated down from LM to BS in my dragon and a hunter was beaning me in the head and I literally touched down at bs and his arrow hit me. Thatâs ludicros range. Just fix this nonsense. Come out of stealth into a full series of CDS at 70 yards is garbage. Maybe over the course of a game another class does more damage because they are constantly engaged in combat. But the game play of stealth straight into big CDs is totally garbage. Remove stealth and fix range. They can even keep sniper.
Range is fixed for the week, you just have to go into Arathie blizzard(brawl)
