It’s not. The Horde pool that the Alliance queues pull from shrinks, as there’s not as many actively waiting and the Horde will eventually have to match up against each other - whereas the Alliance will no longer have instant queues unless they queue at the same time as Horde.
So it’s not the same thing, and it’s definitely worse than what we have now.
