(Bug?) Mistweaver Aspect of Harmony 4p seems to do nothing

The 4p states that using TFT basically makes you get 2 charges of Harmonic Surge. However with 2 piece alone you are sitting at 6 stacks of Harmonic Surge in an entire dungeon and it seems to proc off every Tiger Palm anyway.

I don’t see why I would equip the 4 Piece when I could just use the Helm and Legs (which don’t have mastery). Then I can use Crit Haste Vers for my other pieces instead of Tier. Pretty sure this setup of 2p + 2 Crit/Haste/Vers pieces would be optimal over 4 piece.

Just wanted to report this cause having a 4 piece that does seemingly nothing is kind of silly. I feel like it should have some extra effect such as one of:

  • You can store 50% more vitality
  • Coalescence is 50% more effective
  • TFT gains an additional charge
  • TFT’s cooldown is reduced by 10 seconds.

Edit: Maybe it’s possibly bugged but Awakened Jadefire does not proc 2 Harmonic Surges. Just one. So I suppose also letting Awakened Jadefire’s 2 Tiger Palms proc Harmonic Surge twice might also work to make the 4 piece worth it. As that would actually maybe let you get through the stacks faster than you can generate than? Maybe? But yeah as it stands now you can’t get through them faster than you can earn them so the 4 piece actually does nothing and is not worth equipping. The old tier or better statted pieces is better than 4 piece, which seems wrong.

I haven’t experienced this but i have only play MoH in Dawnbreaker, because conduit/sheilun’s is bugged on the boat. Harmonic surge usually does work when I have played it, but the only way it does any singnificant amount of healing is to prepare for it by putting your mists (heal amps) on allied players. Particularly with mending proliferation to reduce the time needed to prepare 5 people with amps.

If you harmonic surge with no mists out then players will recieve the amount it does baseline. If you put enveloping and renewing on them, it does significantly more. In raid idk if harmonic surge could possibly be a significant source of healing to large groups, because it’s going to random damaged players every time, so you may not see it accumilate a lot of healing to individual targets instead spread out in small amounts to many targets. I am only speculating in this regard, because I do not play it in raid either.

This is actually the conduit tier set bonus so I want to say no, it shouldn’t do that for MoH.

It’s not that it is not proccing. It procs off every punch.

The problem is that the 4p does not contribute anything because you generate more Harmonic Surges than you can feasibly spend.

If you have a harmonic surge and punch something, you just get another Harmonic Surge back.

When Harmonic Surges are infinite, the 4p giving two stacks is literally nothing. Infinity + 2 is still infinity, as learned in grade school math.

Seems very odd that the 4p just contributes literally nothing. Usually the 4p for uh… Well every other spec in the game as far as I am aware, does something. But I am almost 100% confident that you do more healing/damage on Aspect at the moment by not equipping the 4 piece, and just staying on 2p + better statted off pieces.

I’ve noticed sometimes I have dry spells, but more often than not after at least one use of TFT it gets to the point where I am unable to run out of the procs. I wonder if there’s a bug with it cause the tooltip says there’s an increasing chance after gaining vitality, presumably so that you eventually get a proc. Maybe this isn’t working correctly and instead of resetting that high chance after getting a proc, it stays high?

Very odd.
