was either wod or legion where they let you do the bosses as many times as you wanted but could only be eligible for loot once. i wanna say end of wod or legion.
This wasn’t in MOP but it should have been backported to every version of Classic.
For those who aren’t aware, if 25 man raids typically dropped 5 pieces of loot and you ran with 3 people who were locked, it would drop 4 guaranteed pieces of loot and a 40% chance of a 5th. It all scaled.
WoD patch 6.0 was when they added the ability to clear raids multiple times on the same Character but you were only able to receive loot off of the bosses once. Would be a nice feature for them to bring forward IMO, like the WoD buffs and nerfs they’re doing.
Of the 6 total changes they’re bringing from WoD, 3 are buffs, and 3 are nerfs. “They already doing wod nerfs” is misleading. They’re doing a small number of balancing changes to classes because 5.4 balancing was done with SoO gear in mind and doesn’t suit 5.0 content. Six of the solutions they came up with were basically what existed in WoD.
That is quite different than systemic changes to raiding and lockouts.
