They gave the option for it till… Cata I think. It was used and viable in TBC both in and out of raids. Wrath I don’t know stopped playing Shaman then. But in TBC I DW for raids and PVP’d as 2H. When you crush a rogue with a SS+WF proc in full resist gear… it felt good… oh so good.
