More about MINT

Attendance

All raiders are expected to attend every raid on time, and ready to pull. 85% attendance is required.

As a progression focused guild, we need to establish a group of raiders that we can rely to attend and perform consistently.

However, we understand real life comes first. If you are going to be missing a raid, please post in the #attendance channel so we can accommodate accordingly. Unfortunately, missing or being late to raids will affect invite priority.

Performance

You’re expected to perform to the best of your ability, and improve in areas that you’re weaker in. Check your logs (in the #logs channel) to see how you’re performing in terms of Damage/healing, mechanics, and more.

Officers regularly review logs to see performance; if there are major problems, we’ll reach out. If you have any questions about your performance, reach out to an officer.

We value everyone’s time. If anyone’s performance is holding the raid back, you may be sat for the remainder of the night or boss.

Azerite!

Your Azeroth neckpiece should be at the current required amount (Currently 70) for the start of 8.3. We will increase this again with the addition of a new essence slot.

To keep up, you should be completing your weekly island quest, and the daily emissary quests that award AP.

Keystones!

At start of 8.3 all raiders must complete a Mythic +10 keystone every week. +15 Keys will be the new minimum requirement once raiders obtain the gear necessary for completion.

If your gear is holding your performance back, you should be regularly running keystones with other guild members. Chat with an officer if you’re having trouble finding groups.

Loot Council
Loot council will not become relevant until we achieve AotC and have regular Heroic re-clears. The idea behind loot council is to maximize the DPS/HPS from a piece of loot. Certain things will be taken into consideration when awarding loot. This includes: attendance, performance, loot previously received and currently equipped items.

Example: 445 Azshara’s Font of Power drops for the raid. It dropped for a Shadow Priest, and they are able to trade it. This trinket is not an item level upgrade, but it is slightly better than the 445 tinket they received in a Mythic+. For the sake of discussion, let’s say the trinket is a 200 DPS upgrade for our Shadow Priest. They want to equip it, and we can’t blame them for wanting to— after all, it is an upgrade. However, this is far from their BiS item.

There are Hunters, Mages and Death Knights in the raid that will benefit from Azshara’s Font of Power too. Once again, for the sake of discussion, let’s say Azshara’s Font of Power is a 1,000 DPS upgrade for the Death Knight and a 2,000 DPS upgrade for the Mage and Hunter.

This is where Loot Council would step in. Our one and only goal is to maximize overall raid DPS and HPS. Loot should be seen as a tool to further progression.

With this ideology in mind, it is clear that Azshara’s Font of Power should be awarded to either the Hunter or Mage. They benefit the most from Azshara’s Font of Power and provide the highest net gain for the raid. At this point, the individuals that benefit will be asked to /roll for Azshara’s Font of Power.

Of course not every scenario is this cut and dry. We hope people understand this is all for the sake of progression. To meet certain Mythic DPS requirements, we need to be able to maximize our gains as early as possible

LFM Raid ready DPS

While everyone seems to be melee heavy this expansion, I do have a 438 DK with 8/8H, 1/8M experience (and some pulls on Mythic Radiance). Consistently top 3 DPS on current raid team, and have plenty of logs available.

Add my btag (buckeyes#11437) if you would like to chat. Thanks and good luck!
