Mind controlling out of BG's

Just have your team report and move on. I had a horde priest sitting with flag trying to MC people out of wsg the other night. Adding a confirmation window when leaving via portal would fix this issue and keep the integrity of classic.

Know what else would work? Killing the priest, removing the MC, killing the priest, not fighting near the portal, or killing the damn priest.

That is what I did because I can silence the priest or dispell myself with pet but for the classes that can’t break a successful MC? Adding an accept window while exiting the portal is good enough.

Classes that can’t remove the MC themselves are in luck, as WSG permits nine additional players to help them fight the opposing faction.

Hmmm… I didn’t even know there was an exit portal for WSG inside the BG.

Where is it? It has to be so far out of the way I have literally never come across it. Why are you fighting anywhere near it? MC has a very short range and literally anything will interrupt it…

Its by your faction’s graveyard. Priests have attempted to bait people near it by holding the flag.

Well, I agree it’s a lousy tactic. It’s one thing to jump someone off a cliff or hold them under water… Its pretty lame to just glitch them out of the BG like that.

I think you mean pretty hilarious. Of course, it’s absolutely infuriating when it happens to you, but the sheer joy of seeing it happen to your opponents is well worth the risk of having to go through it yourself.

It’s a creative use of game mechanics to frustrate and troll your objective enemy, which Blizzard themselves have already stated is permissible. What is the big deal? Why must they endeavor to ensure that absolutely nothing you experience in this game will ever make you feel justifiably outraged?

Yeah, lets see the blue post of it being permissible. I’ve been hearing otherwise from my wsg discords.

Well, the best solution is to call it out publicly like this.

Not sure if Blizzard should ‘take action’ or if a PVP solution is more appropriate.

As I mentioned, MC has a short range and a long slow casting time and any damage on the priest will interrupt it. So, if you see a priest chilling by the exit portal, do not approach him alone. If he MC’s anyone, the other player should be already bashing his face in.

I think this can be avoided by just playing more tactically. But I do agree it’s a cheesy tactic.
