I do worry that Blizz hasn’t gotten the message that the Horde is tired of losing leaders.

I don’t see a reason to suspect Lor’themar is going to die now that he’s survived the trailer teaser.
But if he did I think liadrin would be an obvious candidate. I can’t even think of anyone else to nominate tbh.

Maybe. Only thing I heard about Lor’themar is he doesn’t like the Amani Tribe. Eye for an eye sort of thing with Zul’jin. 
Didn’t Varian survive that too?

Lor’themar is the only competent faction leader left in the game. When he’s gone, everybody is boned.

That’s not really an argument to suspect Lor’themar is going to die.
That’s an argument to suspect every character from a trailer is going to die.
Maybe he will die, idk, neither do you and we have no real evidence to support the idea he is going to die. Sooo, wait and see i guess 
It’s not an argument at all. It’s just saying him surviving the trailer isn’t a guarantee at all.
I didn’t say I did, nor did I say he will die. Just that nothing is a guarantee.

I still don’t know who the Warchief of the Horde is. 
Or or, instead of stepping down or killing him maybe instead he can accept becoming the defacto ruler of the blood elves.
Whether it be a king, elected title of some kind, or what ever.
Why do some people want to just kill off or get rid of the last few good horde characters we have?

I hate when they kill off good character but blizz loves to kill horde leaders and we need atleast 1 sacrifice every 2 xpacs it seems or the blizz gods get hungry!
Liadrin is matriarch of the blood knights so it wouldn’t make sense she would be regent lord also. I don’t think she would make a good regent lord tbh. The blood elves have always done a good job of delegating roles unlike other races. The only way that would make sense is if her role was taken over by Arator or somebody up and coming in the blood knight ranks.
Like say her daughter?

Too much spotlight the light is gaining at the expense of mages and farstriders.
Making Liadrin the new leader will only make things worse.

I get what you’re going for, but i think if he does die or step down, it will be Arator named as the blood elf leader. Right now, blizzard is a lot more focused on erasing boundaries between the horde and alliance, and giving control to a blood elf by lineage and alliance by loyalty character fits their plans exactly.
They even added a shared half of the city in the new xpac. It can’t be any clearer that this faction erasure is going to happen, and the horde is going to have to sacrifice identity to make it happen. Not like we’ll have any big name leaders left to kill for narrative shock after lorthremar is gone anyway
