Midnight will not launch at all since this patch. Ive had intermittent issues this expac but now its doing nothing since the new patch. Id really like to play this new content, the game I love and pay to play. Yet nothing seems to work. TWW launched fine and all that. The game does play, just intermittently. I was able to get it to work somewhat but this patch has made things worse. All my drivers are fine, I have none of the programs that cause software conflicts. I have had to uninstall the game and reinstall it only for it to work for one night then just not work at all the next morning. This is a bit frustrating not having a working game.

Ram: 32.0 GB (31.8 GB usable)

Graphics Card: Intel(R) UHD Graphics 630 (128 MB)

System Type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Hard Drive: 1TB SSD

No add ons running because I was testing to see if that was the issue too.

Do you have a standalone GPU? This is the integrated GPU and doesn’t meet the requirements for Midnight.

Is the drive overfull?

Can you add a DxDiag here?

I dont have a standalone GPU. The game was running fine with this GPU. It even ran midnight. So Im going to have to get a new GPU just to play this game? WOW has always been a game you could play with a basic PC. So Blizzard changes it to where you have to have more advanced stuff just to play? I dont game much other than WOW anymore. I didn’t invest in a great PC, just a used one I got off Amazon. I’ll have to see if I even have room for a GPU. It will be like putting a big block in a Ford Courier I guess.

Minimum requirements were changed with the last 2 expansions. The current minimum requirements are listed on the shop page, and supported graphics cards are listed.

It was working fine earlier in this expansion. It makes no sense that the GPU would prevent it from launching.

It actually doesn’t make sense it ever ran before, but now normality has reasserted itself.

You are out of support if you don’t meet the minimum hardware specification.

It might be that or maybe a security app, a DXDIAG as mentioned above might point to something.

Are you sure? That GPU hasn’t met the requirements for three expansions.

So I bought a new GPU and the game wouldn’t launch still. I went to the hardware store and bought a 50ft Ethernet cord and it has been launching. So Midnight definitely needs a hardwired connection. Maybe some people have better WiFi and it works fine for them.

Bad internet connection can keep the entire game from launching I guess. Hopefully, this fixes it for good. I have never had issues playing strictly on WiFi in the past.
