[Midnight] Wanted Features & What They Might Fix

Now, I start my comment here with saying I’m a casual PvPer at best (enjoying my unranked BGs at the later stages of the season) but I’d be more interested in doing more PvP if it had its own, smaller talent tree. As you said, remove the bloat and focus on what would be relevant for PvP. Having a separate PvP talent tree would also enable better tuning for PvP and more relevant choices.

I’d like to bump in the thread regarding Guild updates at its relevant to the topic and your comment here - [Feedback] Guild Update Coming!

It has many of the suggestions you wrote and many more, a good read for anyone new to the topic.

While I don’t fancy the Order Halls (for me, the fantasy of some of them is really bad), I’d love to see more class specific story/quests/content. Some have been getting it (looking at Hunter and Warlocks), but most are still left out in the dust.

Could not agree more! The events in Wow aren’t world events for most parts and they are severely lacking in content. Imagine a Winter Veil with snowball fights in open world or in a remade BG. Or a pubcrawl event for Brewfest. There’s a lot of things that can be done and I was sad to see that some of the community ideas wasn’t part of the “reworked” (read bumped) world events.

Glyphs also suffer from what I mentioned earlier that some classes are more represented than others. It would be nice to see a more normalized number of cosmetic changes, even if it’s far easier to just give Druid more forms, Shaman more hexes or Mages more polymorphs.

I still wish that Blizzard would stop releasing new races and focus on updating the ones they have (and even doing some merges and instead offer subraces). But I get that’s not a box-selling-feature so it will probably not happen. But instead of having three dwarven races, have one and then offer subraces with different backstories. Something more akin to how it works in Baldur’s Gate 3 (elves => High Elf/Wood Elf, Gnome => Deep Gnome/Forest Gnome/Rock Gnome).

With a more robust foundation, people would have easier to create the character they want to play, not the character the game wants you to play (still no high elves Blizzard???)

And since gear clipping is still a thing (please fix Dark Iron Dwarf shield), let the player decide if it’s worth the tradeoff to have both a cape and a quiver as an example.
