Overall the community and data miners have been pretty accurate at determining the dates for releases and the Midnight release date has possibly been found. According to the data, the new pre patch world events leading into Midnight ends on Monday March 9th 2026 which points to a Tuesday March 10th 2026 release date for Midnight.
Start requesting that PTO everyone, things are coming up fast.
Shadowlands and DF both launched on Monday so it could actually be the 9th.
Anyways, despite expansion launches being fairly stable since BFA, I would still recommend using your PTO for a long weekend instead, if you plan on using any.
But I’d also hold off for a little longer, an alpha calendar is definitely subject to change.
Request pto so I can sit in a loading screen or glitched out city for 8 hours
Or they just keep delaying the live server by 8 hours

Wednesday’s and Thursday’s off as is. Don’t think I’ll need to burn any PTO thankfully

Lol I never take time off on an expansion release.
Servers are always screwed and even by the time I get off work for the evening, they are often still having trouble.
Folks still stuck in the expansion starting zones and whatnot by the time I am able to log in.
If not for Early Access, I’d be on equal footing with everyone that took the day off lol.
I’m in no rush to play as soon as it drops even though I have early access for it. One, world first achievements are hard on both body and mind. Watched a friend a long time ago go for a Wrath world first for his class and then subsequently watched him crashout because of the non existence of sleep. Kudos to those that do this but I cannot. Two, the amount of bugs and problems that are going to happen…I can wait. Not a fun thing to go through and my WoW addiction isn’t that strong anymore.
