Between the recent add-ons announcement, the limitations on Hero-track transmogs, class pruning and the ugly new tier sets, Iāve lost all motivation to play Midnight.

I will be prepurchasing Midnight. I HATE the changes coming but I know Iāll be playing it anyways. Maybe Housing (which I like doing) will save it for me. Maybe Iāll stop doing M+ altogether and go hermit for a few years. But Iām not kidding myself, Iām still going to be here.
If I refund anything and it goes into the Bnet account, so what. This is not the only Blizzard game I play. Does credit on your Bnet account ever expire? If not then thatās even better. If I come back in 2 expansions time, I can use it then.
If theyāre ugly why does not getting myth transmogs from non myth content matter?

Just do mythic content or get it 2 expansions later. Why do you need it now?
Iām guessing a lot of the complaints will die down once people actually get their hands on the game and see the changes for themselves. I think this is all very much overblown and based on what Iāve seen from the alpha I donāt think it will be as awful as people claim it will be.

I actually AM in the process of refunding Midnight, but I do want to issue a point of clarification.
Iām unbothered by the class pruning ā I donāt have high hopes that theyāll land it, the first prune was a disaster, but button bloat is real.
I lean mildly positive on nuking addons ā not a hobby horse of mine, but probably a good idea.
However, I am deeply offended by the āAmani Customization Optionsā for Darkspear. I want bulky trolls, not green-painted lanky Trolls.

agreed, but casual players doing m10+ probably isnāt going to be very common.

I have always bought the collector edition this is the first time Iām not
The combat changes, The Addons, the Lost of pet battles, and The pruning of spec becoming 2 buttons all these reason in itās totality might be the reason Midnight is actually midnight for WoW, Itās really over. I just donāt see a future were WoW survives these changes, This is the most disheartening time I ever felt to be a WoW player. Not even shadowland, BfA, or WoD had me this genuinely concern about the games future and direction.

I absolutely guarantee they will have something like this in place by the time the expansion comes out. This is a very reasonable request, and while I do believe they will fail miserably in making the combat no longer need them, I have faith that they will make a reasonably functional replacement for most technical concerns.
Would you mind sharing specifically what it is you are afraid will happen as the result of these changes

this actually irks me a lot more then it should. it was one of my favorite season/tier is dying down things to do. i know they still have it so you can catch them and all, but surely the dev time on it isnāt that significant.

Seems like a rash decision to me.
