Idk about that. Every single time Blizzard decides to do ability pruning they end up gutting entire specs and leave them for dead in a ditch somewhere. They allways go way way too far. I mean, shoot, DKs literally had so few abilities in WoD when they ability pruned that they didnt have a single button to press for like 4 or 5 seconds at a time.

Even if super-pruning would make the game more appealing to new players (and that’s a big IF), you can do super-pruning without removing UI customization.
I was looking at devourer and it’s so barebones it’s kind of crazy. it’s literally just consume and reap until void ray and then CSTAR in meta. And this is considered to be one of the more interesting options available in midnight, it’s so funny.
How many of those people actually play at a CE level or are members of the deaf raid guild?
Fact is most people playing this game don’t need addons and the justification for removing them is a joke.
I know the deaf guild used special weakauras to communicate for raiding that’s no longer possible with the changes.

I guess my plans to play the new dh spec is now shot.
He’s an idiot. He used to be a pretty decent player, but then he decided to become a baddie. Now he has some of the worst takes on the game and class design I have ever seen.
It has unique resource management so I’m considering it one of the better options. But that isn’t saying much for sure.
He hasn’t been decent since legion. Dude was hard carried in all the BFA content he did and then quit.
Mover Havoc is still in from what I saw. If they went in the direction of adding more unique playstyles like that or Surrender to Madness as options then I don’t see why players seeking more involved playstyles would be losing out.

I’d rather they bring back full Momentum DH that was fun.
