I have to ctrl-M every time I zone into Silvermoon. It’s too much. It’s too extra. It’s over… the top.

Yeah having the entire symphony blast your ears with an over-the-top fanfare does get pretty obnoxious. I wish we’d go back to the more relaxed and ambient style of music TBC had.

The only music I actually like is Haranir’s.

Have you been to Isle of Dorn? It’s the best music. Like in many years of wow. It’s great.

I usually am a big fan of the music. The music and art teams carry this game.

I enjoy the music in eversong and zul aman. I need to spend more time in voidstorm to listen but karesh got me burnt out on the purple waste field zones lol

I think you need to see at ear nose & throat specialist to get your hearing checked, because this expansion’s music is incredible.

Agree. It has way too much chorus. Im sure there is a musical reference for this but it has too much bang and not enough build.

Yeah I can’t, in one ear and out the other. On the other hand I can recall most of the music from Midnight

i honestly thought everyone played with music muted or used soundtrack addon to change ALLLL music in the game to what ever they want based on what they are doing

example i actually changed Voidstorm music to be the KH music from baston which i think fits much better then there music

Swimming plays mario 64 water lvl music
Opening chests plays Zelda chest sound

I’ll be more clear. The music I am thinking of does not play everywhere in the zone. It is only in some places in Isle of Dorn. Like on the beach areas and some other places too. It’s very meditative and nice.

The music represents the city. Blood Elves are over the top always have been. The classic violin plays in some portions but as you enter the city fanfare is appropriate. Music and visuals in an area are part of the story. In the back drop the threat to the city adds to that story.

Reminds me of Stormwind when you enter the city the fanfare. When you enter Ogrimmar the drums set the tone. In Zandalar and so on. It’s in theme for Warcraft.
