I dont know. I can’t seem to get into the story anymore since Legion finished. This cinematic seems “alright” at most. But clearly that comic page that is around the internet for years now with anduin being old and the great war between light and void might be actually coming up eventually sooner or later…
Interesting features they added but personally not enough for me to even consider go back to retail.
That’s cute, pretending Shadowlands cinematic wasn’t bonkers crazy incredible. Yes, BFA cinematic was probably tops for all time, but SL cinematic was just below it.

I think Xal was the best part of the cinematic honestly. She looked awesome and her voice-acting was great. However, it’s kind of ironic that she was the most elf-looking person out of all the characters in the trailer, despite not even being a true elf lol. Lor’themar and Liadrin just felt too human to me. I wasn’t getting Thalassian elf/Silvermoon vibes from them at all. I also disliked Liadrin repeating her Light mantra over and over. Again, it felt off and like something a human would do.
I don’t know. I was super excited for this reveal and this trailer is just not doing it for me. I’m also disappointed with how heavy-handed they’re being with the “light good, darkness bad” trope. I was never expecting for there to be some kind of “the void is actually good!” reveal. But I was hoping we would at least get a more interesting, nuanced exploration of the void in this xpac. Seems like that is not going to be the case.
Oh, and for those who were sick of the “we’ll overcome anything with the power of friendship” vibes of Dragonflight? Looks like this xpac is going to be oozing with it puke

Even though Shadowlands sucked I’d say the trailer for it was hype. I remember seeing the cinematic reveal of it at Blizzcon and when Bolvar gets up to confront Sylvanas people lost their dang minds over it.

They’re probably trying to figure out how to make female draenei look bad before they put them in another cinematic.
They were out of mana I guess.
I’ve been playing this game for longer than you and since before half the people playing retail today were even born. I think I’m allowed to criticize it when it doesn’t live up to my expectations.

This is largely how I feel about the trailer. It was beautiful cinematically and well done overall but told us nothing we didn’t already know (Silvermoon under attack) and was not at all impactful because nothing really happened. The two sides fight. There’s no story hook here, I kept waiting for something interesting or unexpected to happen.

Eh, you’ll never convince me that WoTLK wasn’t the peak. Call it bias for nostalgia, but it’s incredibly simple and efficient and then there’s the actual ICC trailer itself.

This is my main currently but I’m just chilling and playing casually and collecting stuff so I’m not like ashamed of it or anything 
I’ve honestly been mostly doing delves and leveling alts to prepare for Midnight, I’m having fun with WoW even if my ilvl sucks

And for a moment I thought it was going to be Turalyon, that shadow, IDK… for now I think this will be judged later, but there are definitely a lot of flaws like:
- It’s like BfA sequence
- Girlboss moment, maybe more than the cinematics it’s the lore they didn’t learn because the Faerin cinematics are so bad Liam Neeson Taken Shake camera
- I think Turalyon was bait for a moment.
- The Jailer was missing, I would have liked that even though your didn’t like it
- No Sylvanas Redemption, maybe your hate us, but in this expansion the Windrunner sisters are together again.
