Very excited for Midnight with all the features I haven’t been as excited for an expac launch since Legion. There is just one thing bugging me though! From the VoD of the latest Midnight stuff at gamescom it was mentioned the majority of Silvermoon would be Horde-only and Alliance would be “kill on sight”. In a vacuum that would not be an issue but we’ve been facing world ending threats with sharing cities before so it seems odd to make this an exception.
Dalaran was an Alliance city and the factions came together to face Malygos and the Scourge in Wrath. Then again, despite the Sunreaver’s betrayal, Dalaran chose to welcome the Horde to use their city in the fight against the Legion. Even this expansion Dalaran was intended by the Kirin Tor to once again be a staging ground against the Void before it was destroyed.
Then we have Bel’ameth in Dragonflight. Horde are allowed there even in the aftermath of fighting the Primalist threat and Fyrakk being defeated. With the consideration the Horde happened to burn the last World Tree the night elves lived in I’d say it was very open of them to allow Horde into the city even after the threat was passed. But even with the on going threat of the Void on the doorstep of Silvermoon they are going to be stingy where Alliance wander? It doesn’t feel right after all the times with alliance capitals.
I think the majority of Silvermoon should be free for both factions to wander with a Horde-only sanctuary where alliance players are teleported out of like Dalaran had and then the Alliance would have the opposite with a Void elf camp outside the city walls that Horde are teleported out of.
