if only they had a way to communicate across great distances with branches of their company without actually going there. Then they could tell their people to fix their game.
Goldshire and SW get very laggy on Moonguard since the anniversary event started.
I don’t complain though, I’d rather it be laggy than it be sharded again.
Goldshire is where the wpvp is.
I’ve seen 3 shops In Dornagal shut down since launch. If wal-mart moved in right now things would go belly up hella fast.
So the erp is causing the wpvp to lag now too?
I feel like it is going very poorly, but not for weird reasons like this
What the heck are you doing there anyway?
Lag? I haven’t had a touch of flag on any version of wow and I play all the time. I’d assume it’s on your end Bloodsouls.
Past several expansions been the same way, well before MS acquired em. With the Dwarves, Elves, n Imps in charge at Blizzard, it’s no wonder.
Maybe stop doing weird crap in Goldshire?
I’d honestly prefer sharding at this point.
It’s absolutely miserable to be in Stormwind. Can’t even properly Skyride or DH / Dracthyr Double Jump/Glide because it’s so bad.
I don’t even want to deal with that for aimlessly running around and chatting.
That said, the issue is obviously not just that RP Server don’t shard Stormwind. It started with a patch. And has been constant since. Blizzard broke something and it’s not widespread enough for them to care.
Therefore, I’m just hoping whatever it is, is tied to the Anniversary Event and things go back to normal Jan 6 or 7th, whenever it’s gone.
All of that said, I’ve had 0 issues in Moon Guard Goldshire. All Stormwind. I suspect people lagging in Goldshire are having legitimate lag due to weaker machines. Maybe its people trying to escape Stormwind’s lag and aren’t used to the population density in Goldshire?
goldshire…moon guard…cant imagine what he would be doing there on a VULPERA.
You forgot the air quotes around “wpvp”.
Outside of the Inn to the side facing the road to Northshire is just a field of PvPers. Horde join in sometimes.
Either that or he’s one of the Horde that sit in the upstairs corner room with 2 beds inside the Inn because Guards don’t reach there if no one trails them in.
…lag??
To me the post-TWW bugs and glitches are a faaaaar more pressing matter
Like, literally lag doesn’t really matter unless it happens during something important (such as a timed key, rated arena match, etc). Getting a little lag here and there out in the open world (for example) or while doing a WQ isn’t too big of a deal
World PVP. The alliance gets defiant in Goldshire. We almost crashed goldshire during th eheadless horseman event cause of 20v20
It’s not here and there. It’s every day, constantly.
Might be specific to Moon Guard or RP Servers due to the no-sharding rules.
This is double tapping spacebar on an Evoker to trigger the Glide:
I understand it’s not during relevant combat, but it’s our capital, it should function.
Not to mention it’s the game’s only real RP Hub for those that care. Even RP is annoying while wading through the latency.
My ping hasn’t been over 34, but I still suffer from terrible server lag frequently in the open world, and more and more often in instanced content. Almost every time I run into server lag, I run a batch file to test my latency to the world server (not login server), and 99% of the time it’s not my Internet that’s at fault. I’ve been playing GW2 quite a bit since their new Expac, and have not had a single lag experience in that game over the past 3+ months. Blizz must be running 10+ year old servers.
I’m not experiencing lag with traveling or combat, but I just hearthed back to Dorn and am getting the announcements on my screen from the theater and delve I did in the past half hour lol
Have you been there?
Or just being bratty?
eww just eww
