Game pass has many PC games. So if it comes out and you “want” to try other games its very beneficial.

wait how does that work? so its $17 USD to play with wow included /expansions and game time?
Quite possibly… Maybe even a game or two that I might enjoy. I don’t even game enough to make it worth it. Plus, I am not really interested in another monthly subscription.

Are xbox and PC game pass on the same subscription, or would I need to sign up for a PC game pass in addition to my xbox game pass?

We do not know. Its not out or confirmed yet. At the minimum if it is added to gamepass you wouldn’t have to pay sub anymore as it would just be lumped in with the Gamepass sub.
Nobody knows it hasn’t been implemented yet… nor has the green light for the purchase been completely given yet.
Do you think WoW is the money maker in the Activsion/Blizzard lineup here?
As pointed out a thousand times-- King is the money maker. COD makes more money than WoW does.
What MS was after was King, COD, OW IP, and Diablo IP. WoW is self-sufficient but it’s not really a growth game. Does it lose money, no. Does it have the ability to increase your portfolio and attract new investors? No.

If it happens, it would likely be when doing gamepass ultimate you have a wow subscription in addition to all the other xbox gamepass stuff, or you can just keep paying for WoW however you did before (be that monthly/multimonth subscriptions or gold and wow tokens)

Little to no chance of wow being on gamepass.
Best people can realistically hope for is that they wont have to buy expansions while they have it.
If they cancel, theyre locked out of playing.
The sub cost wouldnt get included as they would just be giving away a library of games for free to every wow player at that point.

Well I would pay those 17 USD if it includes game time and theres at least one other game in there that appeals to me, not a bad deal.
Told ya this was coming. Guaranteed they’re looking to move it to Gamepass and MS is absolutely exploring Console ports.
How do you expand WoW? Make it available to Xbox users. This is simple business. But like I already said too-- WoW is an afterthought to MS. They really don’t care about it. They wanted King and COD. They’re now going to look at WoW’s expenditures and see where they can grow the value. WoW isn’t a growth-oriented game. MMORPGs, particularly themeparks, are well passed their growth phase with the current gaming market. So the only solution is to figure out how to make them playable to as many players on your exclusive console.
I would doubt that it would include subscription. I think it’s just so you don’t have to buy the game
I didn’t say it was their main money-maker. I said they’d lose money. Reason being, it’s the only Blizzard game with a subscription. That’s fairly steady income each month. If they moved it over to a game pass with multiple other titles, they might retain a good portion of the current players, and gain some that were already paying for the pass. They wouldn’t gain anything.
