It’s seems EVERY time I bring up the launcher there is an update to apply. It’s small, meaning the bar fills quickly and I can reenter the game, but it just seemed weird to me that there was ALWAYS something waiting to update, so I started testing and it seems like every time I leave the game and bring the launcher up there’s an update to apply - even multiple times in a row of opening and closing the game to the launcher. Is this consistent with other Mac user experiences? Or is something not downloading properly and I need to further explore?

I’m on a 2016 MacBook Pro with all software up to date.

It’s the Battle.netapp’s persistent “fake update” problem. Not much you can do about it shy of just launching the game manually until you get the Red Realms of Death screen, which will indicate you must update the client via the app (a real update this time!) in order to play.
