Welcome to Mistveil!

Mistveil is a neutral guild that is focused on healing-centered RP, and world RP!

We are an assembly of healers from all different walks of life, backgrounds, races, and creeds. Unified under our shared cause of offering a helping hand wherever we are needed.

Healing for us is not limited to physical medicine. Healing also encompasses mental health, cleansing corrupted lands, offering wellness initiatives, public rituals, medical events, and whatever our members can dream of!

We welcome Horde and Alliance characters from both Moon Guard and Wyrmrest Accord.

What we offer

Our ultimate goal is to offer storylines that are deeply connected to individual character’s personal stories. Assisting with the creative writing process with introducing insightful character development. Our shared goal is of being travelling healers to whichever zone we have decided to base in to encourage world RP.

We strive to create multiple medium-long term storylines that are interwoven into the lore of each zone our Wayfarers will and have traveled to. Guild progression is tied to a communal voting system, rituals, rites of passage, and eventually our guild neighborhood.

Who we are looking for

We are looking for experienced and active Roleplayers on their main characters who are interested in joining a tight-knit, small group of devoted, welcoming, and truly friendly Roleplayers. At our core, we are looking to develop a small but active membership.

As we are a new guild, we are flexible in many ways to create something meaningful together. We are looking for lore-abiding characters whose personal story is connected to the concept of healing in some shape or form. If you or your character have a unique concept or idea of what healing is, please do reach out to us as we’d love to hear your ideas on how your character could be a great fit!

Joining Mistveil

Our goal is to maintain a small but very active membership in Mistveil. Because of this our recruitment process is a bit longer than is standard. After filling out a brief contact form, you will be asked to participate in one interview with an officer, as well as participate in two guild events or organized RP. During this time you will be welcomed as a guest in our Discord. Once those requirements have been met, and with unanimous consent of the recruiters, you will be invited to join Mistveil in our initial rank. Our goal is to create personal storylines with you that are meaningful to you and your character even before becoming a member! Please note that due to high demand, joining Mistveil may take longer than expected. We are committed to ensuring that every single new member has a fulfilling and meaningful introductory experience to the guild. This means that we are currently only taking one new recruit at a time. We still invite you to submit a form, and get in touch with us! We will be happy to chat more in depth about our recruitment process with you.

We’ve had a wonderful first few weeks of RP, and have welcomed our first group of Wayseekers to the guild! This weekend we will be concluding our first arc in the Western Plaguelands, and will be moving to the mysterious, restorative sanctuary called Mistveil.

This week - we began our journey to Mistveil after a very spooky caravan ride and ended up on the shores of Quel’danas. As we wait for our ships to arrive, we discuss what the travels to Mistveil mean for each of us. OOC note: We also welcomed 2 more Wayseekers into our guild ranks! So much more fun to come! A brief entry was penned inside Rinzhala’s journal entry

"The Elfies are doing decent things. I didn’t necessarily trust them at first when they came to Mender’s Stead. Though I be a bit biased when it comes to them showing up. After saving the people of Hearthglen from a terrible illness brought upon by some Rothide Gnolls that had showed up, we had gathered the supplies to embark on the direction of an island that a Kaldorei spirit be givin’ us. Be said to be a land of energies, where ancients used to meet before the Sundering.

After a bit of unfortunate weather, we docked in Bel’ameth where they stumbled upon one ancient. Crystals embedded into its bark. Illuminated by the Light itself. Empowering it. However, the root of the void had begin to corrupt it. The lil merry band of healers focused their energies in trying to save the ancient but it perished quickly. However, I was able to preserve one of its acorns. We may be able to fully revive the ancient and begin forming a community of healers. Where creed, race, religion, and magic do not matter. Where the sole purpose of helping the world unites us all in one."

Our wayfarer’s have been hard at work uncovering the mysteries and ancient purpose behind their new home of Mistveil, a small island shrouded in mystery. Though, the work of a wandering healer is never over. After catching word that they might be needed in Drustvar, they have begun preparations to move their caravan once again.

Today was a fun week of spooks and adventures as we traveled to Drustvar to find the mysterious Crow Matron so that she may lead them to an ‘Ancient’ that may help us. We also welcomed one more Wayseeker into our ranks!

Things have been going pretty swell for us here in Mistveil! From investigating the history of an island lost to time, to saving a Gnoll from… other Gnolls, to curing strange illness, to passing grass around the campfire, to hunting down devious witches, our Wayfarers have been busy! What time zone are you active mostly?

Hi there!

Typically we offer have 2-3 scheduled events per week between Thursday and Sunday. Event time usually starts at 7 PM Moon Guard Server Time (8 EST, 5 PST) give or take half an hour. No event is ever mandatory, though our minimum attendance is 2 events per month with obvious considerations for irl. Wow RP isn’t a job!

We had our very first rite of passage last night! One of our members has achieved knowledge regarding a mysterious ailment inflicted on her. Her character has a lot of thoughts to process through. Here at Mistveil we really encourage character growth and solid RP writing without a complicated D20 character sheet or roll system.

Holiday bump for Mistveil!

Housing has been released, and our ‘dwarves’ have finished building the bases of everyones house! Now, our dwarven friends continue to work with us on furnishing everyones homes. There are several cool ideas seen across the board - all of which will be used as RP spots in the future. We oh so look forward to seeing what everyone plans to do. OOC note: We will be keeping things pretty tame until the holidays are over due to everyones holiday schedules! Please bare with us; but we will be back to traveling around Azeroth around the time of the Midnight pre-patch, and of course - during Midnight! Recruitment is still open!

Happy New Year everyone!

The Wayfarers of Mistveil have been on a little RP break during the holiday season, and some have been enjoying some OOC game nights in VC like Minecraft, among other things.

We are getting ready to return to IC activity on January 9th, and will also resume recruitment activities at that time.

Our caravan will be setting out again on Sunday the 11th to a new destination, soon to be revealed! For those looking for Healing-focused World RP, and a very active but small community of chill people, look no further!

We are currently stationed in Desolace to assist the Cenarion Circle with their progress on healing the world and bringing life back to those lands.

We also have four members ready for their Rite of Passage to become a Wayfarer.
