But the true is way simpler my friend, no Method player participating in the MDI got banned. Simple as that.

At this point I think of Method how I think of Patriots. I know they’re good, and I know they’re probably going to win, which makes it pretty boring to watch.

For some reason people keep thinking Method wins every competition, but if you actually looked for results you would see it’s not true.

Most people only follow the PvE side of this game, which has been up until recently exclusively raiding. Method has pretty much the monopoly on world firsts in that field, so seeing their name pop up in MDI, which is a relatively new competition, doesn’t come as a surprise or something exciting to most people.
Then Method hires them all! 
I don’t mind one way or another for the MDI, but I understand the hate for them. People start to get annoyed when they hear the same name over and over. Like the Yankees and Patriots in sportsball.
Or imagine if the same person won the lottery 4 times in a row. Bob over here wasn’t going to win it regardless, so it has no effect on him, but he still hates seeing this other person win it over and over.
The difference is that Method wins because they practice, plan, and min/max the most.
It may change eventually, but probably not soon.

Actually incorrect, as per the guidelines, 2 day bans do not disqualify you, You are the one that is giving misinformation.

You are wrong. If you gotten a 2 day ban during the Ban wave you would not have been within the threshhold timeframe wise to be disqualified.
No participant can have an action against their account during the time of the tournament or 6 months prior to it.

Regional Eligibility, under article B it specifically says Good standing is any account without a ban over 48 hours. Arena uses the exact same ruleset as MDI when it comes to this as well.
So yea like i said if you only got a 2 day ban your account is still in good standing and you still qualify.
