So now not only do we have merc mages throwing up ice walls at the start of AV so the ally sits there stuck for 30 seconds unable to get out of cave and/or throwing up ice walls at all worst times where no one on earth could be that stupid as in every time we cast haste n pop cools… every… single… time… our team mate puts up an ice wall up between us and enemy. Ally running for AA and OUR MAGE throws up an ice wall so we can’t get up to the AA and cap it so horde caps it at last second… key words again OUR MAGE… then mage dips out and leaves… this is trash how you continue to allow this…
So now, as if things can’t get any worse… we got Merc’ed lock spies now doing their teleport thing but now dumping all the enemy meleee at SR flag on top of all our healers in the back of the ally group on offense attacking. Literally intentionally dumping all horde armor and meleee directly on top of our healers safe in the back… Def not a “mistake” oops sorry… yea right…
MERC should’ve never been in the game and it should absolutely be turned off now.

So they’re queuing as ally and synching to their horde homies 30 of which are also in VC…
The cheating ability in this game is so off the rails its laughable…

You can right click to remove the ice wall, though it does take a couple seconds I think.
But yes I agree, merc mode should be removed and battlegrounds should also just be cross faction.

If you’re telling me that ally warlocks have become so mentally deranged like club wielding cavemen from 10,000 BC to the point that they’ve now begun transporting all the horde melee upfront at SR directly on top of all our own ally heals way in the back by “accident” & “oops, mah bad” then I will have lost all faith in humanity. If ally mages have become so mentally depraved and completely out of their minds that they’re now accidentally putting up ice walls right when the gates open on ally side so no one can get out of the AV cave… so warped they’re throwing ice walls up right in front of their own team when were about to finally get to the AA so the horde can cap it… If this is happening organically, which is what you’re eluding; then the only solution that can actually fix this earth is a comet going 400,000 miles per hour about the size of Texas.

So when our own Lock dumped 20 Orc warriors and DKs directly on top of all our heals in the back causing a massive wipe - “they weren’t doing it in favor of the other team?”

It might be win trading, but it could also just be griefers. Either way, make sure to report them in-game for gameplay sabotage whenever they do it by right clicking their name > report.
One report won’t do anything, but if they keep doing it the reports will stack up and Blizzard will hit them. Another important thing though is to not tell anyone else to report them as that itself is also reportable, and don’t message them or insult them either. Just report them and try your best to move on.
Ice wall has an anti grief mechanic where you can right click the wall and destroy it.
What makes you think they’re spies. It’s a real possibility they’re a troll whose only motive is trolling.

Title is true. However, if it happens most of the people on the forums complaining about “premades” will then have really long queues on top of playing games poorly against pugs or partials.
IMO the later is far more likely.
Is it possible that someone is using merc mode to get on enemy faction and intentionally throw unrated epic bgs? I mean sure it’s possible, but compared to someone just trolling for no reason other than to make people mad, ya know something that’s been insanely prevalent on the internet since forever, I don’t find it very likely at all.

But you do realize that intentionally screwing over your own team doesn’t automatically mean they are spies trying to throw for the enemy team right? I mean its unrated epics ffs, do you really think anyone cares about that enough to do all that?
The much much more likely reason is simply trolling. For no reason other than to piss you off, and it’s clearly working. Trolls who do troll stuff for no reason other than to evoke outrage has been very common on the internet since the internet was a thing. Why would you just assume it’s some malice plot of spies to throw epic bgs?

There are far faaaar more trolls online, and this game, than there are people who giga try hard in unrated epic bgs to the point of mercing for some spy shenanigans.
Before merc mode was even a thing in this game this type of thing happened ALL the time. Just good ole fashioned trolling.
